I purchased a Iceco chair after watching your video. It is all you described. I'm 6'2" and it's perfect for me to lay back and rest of head in the back of the chair.
A budget alternative to this chair would be the Cabela's Big Outdoorsman Muskoka Chair ($89 vs $149)! Similar specs and design (except the high back and bamboo arms). Also, the Cabela’s version is steel vs ICECO’s aluminum frame (though both support 600lbs there is a weight difference)
I know this doesn't have anything to do with the chair but I've been dying to figure out what solar panel you have on the bonnet of the 4Runner😅 I'd love to add one onto mine
I'm a really old fart and have been through so many camping chairs. I really haven't found the perfect camping chair yet but I do have something that isn't really a chair but is really comfortable. The downside is that it's heavy. It's a take apart hammock with a steel frame built for two. When only one person uses it, it's like a cocoon. I swear I sleep better in it than any sleeping mattress!
Sitting around the campfire you want a good chair one of the few bits of kit that bigger is better. I use ARB tourer chair side table and pockets. Sadly we can't get the Iceco chair in the UK . Look forward to what your Xmas wish list might be
Amazon calls this a “reclining camping chair”; however, I didn’t see that capability in the demo. I know that the sister chair-the 400-lb capacity version-IS a reclining camping chair. Clarification?
good review on a chair I have never seen and thought I had seen them all. For me the high back feature is great. I hate all the spindle leg chairs that are a origami puzzle to set up.

“Half of me wants another beer, and the other half does too.” That made me chuckle…
knew someone would get that reference
Miss your videos, hope to see you back again soon even for a chair review :D
This was a good review. I'm pretty sold on this chair now. thanks! Yaaayuh! lol
Sweet, thanks. I think I'm gonna ask for this chair for Christmas.

I hope Santa brings me... more gear that I can complain about taking up too much weight and space 😅
I love everything about it but it looks like it would soak up water if left out overnight.
It says water resistant and that fabric is synthetic (just feels like a soft canvas). I haven't tested that but I think some DWR spray wouldn't hurt
I bought one based on your review.

They released a different reclining version that looks very similar not long after I put out this video.
Where can this be purchased in Europe at a normal price?
PS what's that tent/living space above your SUV? That looks pretty cool!
Cost 💰...😅😅 I lifted my Lx 470 with the Landcruiser suspension with larger size tires. Looks nice for dirt roads 👌 🤜🤛
It’s a Go Fast Campers roof top tent (GFC Platform RTT)
@@ggg4runner thank you! You've got a great set up there! I like everything you have shared.
Water resistant?
It says it is but I wouldn't want to leave it out in pouring rain and I'd imagine that using a DWR spray on it would make it better.
In 1:40 I’m already sold 😂
Iceco vs the red timber ridge - who wins a spot on your truck ?
Since I like having lumbar support, the Timber Ridge chair is more comfortable for me.

Agree- no origami bs !
Any idea how fast it will dry out if it gets wet?
I haven't had to find out yet
Skeeet skeeet skeeet!
I see 3rd gen and I press subscribe
Superb video. This is a pretty sexy chair. And I like the high back and that it flips over to be a more upright chair.
lol #FOREVERCHAIR I hate to admit it but it is so true 😂
Right? Glad it's not just me 😆
Looks nice, but it also looks like the sagging seat would be murder on your lower back.
I did mention in the review that this chair is not for you if you like/need lumbar support
