Thanks! - I replaced the cover using your video! I ended up have to file the pins down to help reduce the pressure needed to insert them back when replacing. My cover was much thicker than the original but it seems to work ok.
Thanks for this. Mine is peeling up and I didn't want to start prying at stuff and mess something up. Now also considering changing the color to match my Grey trim.
If it was glued, why do the trouble of disassembling the whole set. Just fry out the top and glue it back. And tell what that car model is because every car model have diff arm rest
Yeah. Not sure if it the plastic was too hard or my stapler too weak, but re-done the loose ones off the camera. Just didn’t want the video time-lapse to be too long. No one has time for that.

Having issues getting the PINs back in, any suggestions?
Yeah, those are tough. I used adjustable pliers to force them back in.

What a fantastic find your youtube channel. Great you do things with the is250. I'm gonna enjoy watching what you've done job wise on the is250.

Glad I could help!
Fantastic, excellent work - thanks for sharing the tutorial.
Glad to help!
FYI - on my 2010 Lexus RX 350, after taking out the 2 screws, the armrest just slides out rearwards - no need to remove the rear panel etc.
It seems to be the same setup in his video, he just had no idea 😂 He slides it out at 0:53
Excellent tutorial!
It's so wild how these vehicles are basically gigantic Legos that snap apart and back together 😂
The entire thing is, if you have enough tools and knowledge.
What staples do you use ? The standard sized ones are too long and the shorter length ones are too weak to penetrate the hard plastic
Thanks for this great video 🌹🙏🌹
Where did you get your seat covers? I have the same car and will be doing the armrest repair thanks to you.
This is the brand I been using for all my cars seat covers, pretty good quality and they look really nice in person: amzn.to/44kygfv
I am currently attempting this repair, if I did it, it would save me 350! Because that's what the shop wants to replace that piece of leather
Very helpful video…
What size are the Staples.
Thanks Christopher
This guy is so fast, he must have done a lot of these covers.😛
@1:14 I don’t understand why we can’t just pray off this piece and I’ll take apart the whole assembly. What am I missing?
Where can I get a foam cushion for the center cover from? I need to replace mine to a new one
This video was very helpful, but the leather is more tanner than the rest of your leathers interior. I got the same Lexus RX 350.
Yeah, might be hard to find a perfect match, but overall it was better then old ugly one.
This is only for newer cars!! The old cars used a shit ton of glue!!
Does this still apply to a 2015 Hyundai Sonata?

What’s the size of the staples did u used?
Excellent video. Blessings.
Do you know how to repair/replace the front door pulls? My "leather" is peeling there, also. Thanks
Cant you buy an aftermarket or used lid?
The link for the material is not popping anything to buy? Help
How much to get a professional to do this
How do you remove it though?
Do you know where to get this in black?
Use link in the description. They have it in black too.
Can I do this replacement with an original fabric (“suede”) armrest? Don’t know if that can be removed like leather can.
Your staples are barely penetrating and will most likely come apart within the first year of use. Otherwise nice job.

Can you do it for a mini cooper s 2016 please eas please
👌🏼
My lid wont go back on and i watched the video solely for that and you did mot even show it. Wsste of time
A steamer, staples, a cushion if needed, remove a bunch of clips, pins, see if it fits...... what a messy job.
Too much work
Yeah, I’d rather be fighting 🎣
Remove your vidio
How so?
Do this work on model Y?
