I love this stuff personally. Very slick and reasonably durable. The shine deepens over the next 24 hours. Drawbacks, it’s a little expensive and it smells horrible. Good video.

It's way cheaper on Amazon if you get the gallon. It's like 25 bucks for 16 oz or 50 bucks for a gallon.
That makes it cheaper than the Adams mega foam, you could wash your car with the stuff lol

I think it smells great, love the shine it gives to my e63 amg. Im a fan, and frankly I did not expect it to last 3 washes (that was my thinking when I bought it). Seeing this review makes me happy I picked the right stuff for my car. Im impressed.

Great review as always Brian, thanks. Chemical Guys sure do have a confusing lineup of paint protection, definitely saturated. I do really like their VRP for my tires. Water based, not too glossy and lasts a couple weeks here. Wouldn't even know where to start with paint protection from them though.

Hi Brian love your channel but i have one concern about this 10wash test. It will only be a mechanical stresstest so you could use just regular soap. If it shall simulate 10 real washes the product must be on the panel for more than 10 seconds before being washed off. Because when you shampo your car the solution is on the panel/panels much longer maybe 2-8minutes? So you should leave it for some minutes in between.
But i understand the test will take much longer time.
    Thanks

Yes! Thank you Brian,I bought some of this last year and had excellent results with it's hydrophobicity, slickness and gloss! Chemical Guys has hit and miss products and to me this was a hit!! It's very versatile,I have used it over waxes, sealants and no protection with no fuss. The longest it lasted was on my car overtopping the hydro slick and it lasted around 9months before it's properties were diminished. I got around 4 months as a standalone on the paint. On my windshield and other's I applied it to though it lasted well over the year mark with no problem.. It was weird to me professional detailers haven't done thorough review on it yet.. I feel it's great for anyone wanting some protection and having no worry over applying or removing it,it also seems to layer decent without streaks. I appreciate your input and video on it. My biggest gripe with this is the price for 16 ounces, although it's much cheaper in a half gallon. Thank you!

It seems as though this product is fairly good as a quick detailer like you mentioned. My one complaint with chemical guys is the one recent incident that I had with their water spot remover. I watched several videos on how remove water spots and in was those videos, the consensus was that chemical guys orange gel was best. Well, that wasn't the case for me. It didn't remove not even one water spot. Being that I value your honest opinion, I decided to see how you could advise me on correcting this issue without taking my car to a professional. I watch your video on the 3d one polish and it totally and completely corrected all of the water spots. I reached out to chemical guys but to this day, they have not responded. For that reason I won't use any of their products. But I would like to tank you Brian for your video on 3d one. I reached out to also thank 3d one. I'd like to add that I corrected the spots with the only thing That I had, a harbor freight bauer dual action polisher. Which made me wonder....do you really need a expensive polisher?? How long it will last, who knows. Thanks again.

I've noticed a lot of people don't like chem guys just because of the marketing. Has nothing to do with the actual performance of the product just how they market it. Personal I don't think the prices are that far off from any other similar products as long as you avoid the gimmicky stuff. Keep it simple and don't go overboard.
