+Diego Alzaga nah fam Halo 3 was the golden age for custom games remember I would go into a match of fatman, jennga, trash compactor, duck hunt, etc multiple times a weak, but that slowed down during Reach and was non-existent in Halo 4
+Rodrigo Melendez Nah the physics and gameplay in 5 kind of degrade most of the custom games. Now Reach is where custom games reached their fucking pinnacle.
BowlingGlaceon and now halo 5 has an extensive variety of custom games plus the new custom browser, you can play custom games whenever you want as long as you like, what other game has that feature? #LoveHalo

jack made such an obscure reference that i actually understood... in the film "Silent night deadly night" One of the parts don't remember which, the protagonist is running around a neighborhood with a gun and sees someone putting out garbage and in the cheesiest voice says "GARBAGE DAY?!?!?!" and shoots him, its hilarious, look up the clip

Man it may just be nostalgia talking but in all the Halo games since nothing has beaten the Halo 3 custom games. Fatboy in Chubby Stadium, the original trash compactor, running around sandtrap just the best
It's definitely nostalgia as well as the community growing away from halo. halo 5 forge is way better than 3 and added everything people have wanted, so the maps are very good quality . but because the community has slowly withered away and and No one is willing to play with strangers anymore, custom games have lost the magic. that being said there is custom game matchmaking which is a god send
I don't get why Halo 3/Reach versions of these mini games (Jenga, Trash Compactor, Duck Hunt, etc) are deemed superior. As if scripted Duck Hunt and Jenga Island/City are lesser. Getting customs up and running off of the browser ain't hard either, since classic mini games are full within minutes. Even worse are the foos who say Reach forge was better unironically.
I find the Halo 3 versions to be more fun, because it felt more casual. It was just fun, whereas the way Halo 5 plays, makes it feel strangely different. It's this feeling that's different, and I can't even explain it myself. Not that Halo 5 multiplayer is bad. I just always seemed to have more fun in Halo 3.
