Thanks. Was looking for ways to transfer my wife’s data from her huawei to an iphone and it worked a treat. Then just put her Huawei sim card into the iphone and she can carry on with same phone number.

So how do I achieve this if my android 5 phone will not update to the latest android and I therefore can’t get Move to iOS to go on my Galaxy Note 3? When you transfered from android to iphone did the android phone still keep all data and stuff? Or did it lose all of it? Does it remove everything from android? Thanks for any info
@@xDONxBx The Android retained the data. Once I was sure the iPhone worked properly I did a factory reset on the Android to erase all my personal data. I had Verizon swap the SIM card for me at no charge, so I can now use the iPhone for calling.

It's disturbing how difficult Apple makes it to transfer messages and whatnot between an iPhone and an Android phone. Just another way that they want to lock their customers in. Google makes the process easy yet Apple only allows you to use "move to iOS" once. After a device has been set up though you can't switch back and forth without needing to perform factory restore.
I have a question about photos, I have multiple albums on my Android (like 10 albums), will this app transfer them on Iphone in organized albums or will just drop them all in one album?

No, it doesn't transform it in the same order. But YES there is a way to transform it in order it's just complicated to write

If you got a US iPhone it won't have a sim slot, I just got mine from t mobile and it doesn't have one, it has an esim

I followed all your steps and that of another blogger correctly but my iPhone is stuck on "Waiting for SM-G965F" and it's not showing transfer done.
What do I do?
Happened to me several times. I opened the overview off all my running apps ( the ||| icon bottom left on Samsung galaxy) and closed all windows. Then it worked. Although I decided to go to bed after 3 hours of trying to set my phone up, so i unplugged them and the transfer was incomplete.
Here I am again, with both phones pluggedin next to my bed, in case it takes over an hour again.

hello!!! i'm trying to do it but when I'm on the step of" tranferring data to iphone" I see the wifi was disconnected for the app . When I go to wifi shows "connected via move to IOS". It's shows time remaining estimating for several minutes. It didn;t start. do you think is because the wifi?

Mine I get to the point where it says estimated time remaining but then the move to iOS app on the android goes back to the start by itself where the privacy policy is shown
