How long must I be in coast guard before I get a VA loan as a reserve?

Did you get to pick where you are stationed?
Yes, in boot camp, you get a list of places you check off where you would like to be stationed upon graduation. I put all land units on mine, which is why I went to one. It is NOT guaranteed though. They send you wherever they need people. I just got lucky.
10/10 this guy is non operational
3rd operational unit. Was at a small boat, ant, and now cyber ops.
Not sure cyber cmd is an operational unit.
Coast guard is not military. They belong to Homeland security.
Wrong. They are one of the armed services. I was in when they operated under the department of transportation.
They went to Viet Nam, and operate under the Navy during times of war. They are under the UCMJ, the Uniform code of Military Justice. You’ve probably never been in the Coast Guard, so you don’t have any idea.
@@rodgraff1782 yes they are under the laws of the military, it they belong to Homeland Security. You may checkout.
@@michaelpass2176 they operate under homeland security, and are one of the 7 US military services. All you have to do is google “name the seven branches of the US Military.” You’ll get a result of Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. I don’t know how clearer it could be. You check it out. End of story.
😂
Puddle pirate TH-camrs are real?
Yes
Awesome! I'm from the Clearwater/ St. Pete area.. Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes I wonder how things would have turned out had I went to the CG.
