      Agreed1 I have a machine shop that my dad and I work in, complete with CNC's , plasma cutters, CAD, all types of brakes, presses, shears etc. and we focus on agriculture and construction equipment repair. It's one thing to understand metal fabrication but in this case, it goes way beyond that. Hydraulics alone is something that most people have a single focus on and is their livelihood.
      Their are engineers that do nothing other then bearings, needed sizes and types, thrust loading, metallurgy and how different stresses and temps affect the bearing and sleeves. This gentleman it appears, has done all of that? And when you combine the complexity of these subjects, the acute attention to detail and workmanship, and the amount of time needed to study and grasp all of this information and apply it correctly, amazing isn't even close!
      I for one am thoroughly and majorly impressed. I am also humble enough to say that this man's IQ is probably a larger number than mine, Lol

      @@TF856 Backhoe literally means a hoe (digging tool) on the back of something. An excavator is a tool for excavating. He built an excavator, not a backhoe. You are exactly the type of person the original commenter was talking about, someone who doesn't understand.

    You have done an incredible job from start to finish.
    If I was there with you I would give you a pat on the back because you really deserve it.
    Now the only thing is you need a few different buckets.
    I myself what to make a front end loader and a backhoe to put on a little Kubota tractor I have for my son in law so he can use it for doing trenches for power and I can assure you that I will be going back to your videos every now and then to get ideas and I'm a diesel mechanic and have worked on machinery all my life . 1. Hydraulic pump with bigger flow - this engine is not load in full. Now whole machine is slower than working with shovel 2. Some exchangeable parts might be done , like bucket lock or main arm hinge . Now you have potential points of making bigger hole by outer ring at main pins of arm and this can damage whole part of arm . Nice job anyway ! Thanks for sharing .

  • @TF856

    Nice to see that you put a hitch on your blade like some people do on their excavators.
    Some people put a hitch box on their blades so they can use different types of hitches and different drop hitches also.
    On TH-cam look up excavators with trailers and you can also see cotton top 3 putting a hitch on his excavator blade.
    Duckgirl 86 has her own wheeled excavator and she drives it from job to job and she pulls her trailer with her attachments in it and she can operate the dump bed from the cab of her excavator and she's very good at using that trailer on the job moving materials and supplies.
    That machine of yours looks a lot like a Ditch Witch specifically designed for trenching and backfilling.

    I watched this build series from the start. Held my comments till now. Great machine and very professional looking.
    I built a micro-hoe that pales in comparison. But then all I had for tools was an angle grinder and a 110V wire welder.
    My Bridgeport drill was a 25 year old $75 Craftsman drill press. My build location was the great outdoors.
    I did get a hand held bandsaw half way through. Also only spent about $1000 U.S. dollars.

    Очень хорошая копалка! Попробуй поршневую и штоковую полость стрелового гидроцилиндра через "педальку" и простейший золотниковый распределитель соединить, у тебя получится "плавающее" положение стрелы и почувствуешь,что возможностей экскаватора добавилось.Ещё если к отвалу приварить козырёк,то копать и подбирать грунт будет гораздо проще и гидроцилиндры отвала от грунта не будут страдать.Удачи! Копалка просто класс!

    It looks very very well made. Really really impressive work! One question I do have though. With your skill level, why did you not build a tracked excavator with 360° rotation? I own one and love it and from what I see in the video it would just be a lot more comfortable and quicker to use.

    • @AlfaSeven
      @AlfaSeven  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, and thanks 🙂. After careful consideration, I decided to skip the possibility of 360 rotation. I simply wanted to build as cheaply, quickly, and easily as possible, and with wheels to avoid damaging the lawn. And the most important requirements are met for me, which are to do small jobs in the garden. But I agree that it would have become a much better machine with 360 rotation.

    • @jasperaj1
      @jasperaj1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlfaSeven thanks very much for the reply. I did notice how good your excavator is to the lawn! Mine is a small 2,7t and if I make a turn on lawn, even slightly, it makes its mark. Best Regards!
