Underwater Scenes in Blender | Part One: Scene Block In, Ocean Simulation and Procedural Ocean Floor
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 6 ส.ค. 2024
- This is part 1 to a series on creating underwater ocean scenes using Blender. This part will go over how to create the scene box to house the scene in, an ocean simulation and how to create an ocean floor using a displacement map. These are all key to creating the scene properly so make sure to watch this before the next parts.

I remember trying so hard to do something like this a year ago, and I couldnt understand the tutorials because I was still new to blender, now I think I could definitely do it
YOU DID IT I'M SO HAPPY OMG THANK YOU!! :D
Awesome :DDD
That is great content indeed.
Thank you kindly!!!
Oh yeah!!!!!
How many samples did you use for this render shown in the video? Stellar content btw, thank you for taking the time to make this video. Also, I read on the LuxCore FAQ that for caustics, they recommend Bidirectional and Metropolis settings for render, but these settings don't support GPU so it's super expensive on my system =(
Bidir is covered when using Light tracing settings but hybridizes the GPU and CPU and you can change the amount of light tracing by a % slider. I’ve played with some of the render settings like metropolis etc and I don’t remember there being enough difference for it to matter but I may dive deeper into it in a later video. I don’t remember the sample count - I just kind of let it render for a bit (7min or so).
Thanks for the compliment!!! That really means a lot.
Boss
mic ubgrade or did i miss somthing?
I changed the recording quality. :)
As-salāmu‘alaikum,
I thank you for the knowledge.
May I imitate and modify this method for commercial purposes?? without including your name / youtube name??
As long as it doesn’t look exactly like my image, feel free do whatever you like.
I would ask that if you make some cash from this that you consider becoming a patron or YT member as a thank you but of course not necessary:)
@@djtutorialscgi Thank youu,,
Hi i can not render the project
Hi there. Please contact me via the discord.
Why Lux core too slow to render???
Depends on your settings. What do you mean by slow?
@@djtutorialscgi Slow render viewport and slow render ray tracing... Just taking 20 minutes for one frame. How do you want to render a video with hundreds of frames? It could be hours... :/
Jump on my discord server and send me your file. It’s probably some settings you have.
@@djtutorialscgi Ok...
