Following on from the first video of the mowing and foraging, in this video we will see a mixed fleet of Massey Fergusons, John Deeres and a Fendt on the trailers bringing the grass back to the farm. On the silage clamp is a John Deere 6130R with a buckrake pushing the grass up and compacting it down. Once it’s full we sheet it down to seal it so that the ensiling process can begin.

Was over in December,seen the hills near the castle getting cleared.after seeing your videos we’re they for potatoes?

Thanks very much! Yes they would have all had potatoes planted in January and then harvested in April. Those slopes will all now be back in a cover crop for the rest of the year.
