Idk who needs to see this but this awesome new way to sign into the ps5 has now become an awful way to get scammed, I play a game where you can trade items with other players I was told that I could scan a QR code to add a friend from ps5 when I scanned it through my camera roll it took me to the ps app and without any verification or confirmation it just said “you’re all set go to your console to continue” I had no idea what happened but immediately I saw that nobody was added and I signed out of the ps app when signing back in I realized it said that I had been signed into a ps5 3 mins ago, I’ve now tried to deactivate all devices and I’ve changed my password twice and deactivated my PlayStation to the primary I’m hoping that this person does not still have access to my account if anyone knows please reach out and let me know?
