It's weird to me that people in business treat their customers poorly. Especially in the food industry where there are so many restaurants one can choose from, you really have to wonder what's their end game.
Ya. Having poor customer service in the food industry is wildly stupid. 90% of those businesses fail, there is always another option, and profit margins are basically non existent for years unless you're cutting mad corners from the jump. If i owned a restaurant/food truck any and everyone who worked for me would be clear on our customer service goal. I'd make sure our app and other apps we run our business through are always functioning on point, our phone lines are open and being answered, etc.. She wouldn’t stop running her “Motorcity mouth” is got sent me 😂 but in all honestly Detroit people are RUDE! It wasn’t until I left the state that I realized that us Detroiters have a different type of attitude. We have the Detroit vs everybody spirit and to outsiders it comes out as rude and outright ignit at times. This video proves what I’ve been saying about my fellow Detroiters (maybe this doesn’t pertain to everyone, but definitely most). I’ve now learned to change my attitude and behavior because everyone is not my enemy and not everyone is “coming for me” even though that was once my mentality and response to everybody in any given situation. I’m glad you took the high road bro and not act “ignit” back. You remained professional and we respect that! Sorry this was your experience. It’s time to leave Detroit Chime lol! I agree with you. I am from Detroit and I met someone from Atlanta and they shared the same sentiments about the city. I told my cousin that now lives in Dallas that the saying “Detroit vs Everbody” really means Detroit vs. Everybody even going as far to say Detroit vs Detroit that’s the mentality and it sucks because it is truly a hindrance. When I go down south, they show me love to the point where I’ve often think to myself “I think I could live here”. Nevertheless I am determined to stay and help the next generation be and do better..

Once we said we were from California and recording our experience, the tone changed. They even had the chef come out to speak with us, and he was great. Our food was very good 8.5/10.
Unfortunately, it's like that in every business in the hood. And what's worse, it's always in the black neighborhoods. And I'm not just talking about black people. It happens at Asian, Arab, Hispanic, and black owned businesses.
I live in Detroit and their absolutely correct!@@giovannimbvi

Why was she defending everybody like she knew for a fact that no one was rude.....she was rude and sarcastic and condescending during this interaction so I have no doubt she was on the phone being worse when she couldn't see the person
They won’t get My business! And that “woman”🤦🏽♂️she’s the WORST TYPE OF MAMMIE!!!! Notice every time she apologized it was followed with “but”🤔so you’re right, she wasn’t sincere. And just like most of these black mammies they take no responsibility and are always right🤦🏽♂️. That guy wasn’t a stand up person at all either! To hell with that restaurant and their crap service!
one main reason why black women are the most lonely people on the planet
These people with no business acumen whatsoever need to sit down for 1 day on youtube and just learn the basics. Which is sad to say, because why would you put 6 figures of debt on your back and have such a glaring and easily fixed flaw like bad customer service.
Definitely. The whole goal should be to serve the customers.

That’s how we get things done in North Carolina because we don’t play disrespect with our food orders and hard earned money!
Don’t have anything to do with North Carolina. I’ve heard horror stories about food from Chime there. But some of us ain’t wit spending our money for bad food and service. And I’m from Detroit.
Well, Chime and myself are North Carolinians and we don’t play around with our food. The sad truth is some restaurants like this need the reality check and be confronted or else they’ll keep up this act. Love the content Mr.Chime✊🏾
Props Chime! Unfortunately, you have people working in these places that hate their lives and hate dealing those customers througout the day that are stupid. So they feel the need to clap back at people for simple issues and give excuses as to why it's not their fault.
This is exactly why I don’t take disrespect from people in the food industry lol. I get it, you deal with shitty customers all day but IM NOT ONE OF THEM. Don’t give me an attitude that I don’t deserve like tf 😭🤣🤣🤣
It’s funny because these are the type of people who complain about people being rude to them but give out that same nasty ass energy.

Yeah. Then when you put them on blast, they create narratives.
Yes absolutely! And I've had restaurants in Dearborn that is, when a Doordash etc driver didn't show up to pickup my food, they offered to bring it themselves. It says alot about a business and it's Customer Service. They will forever get my business.
If a DD or UberEats driver isn't picking up your food you must not be tipping or only tipped a dollar.
@@Lonewolf_1776I was just abt to type this.. Maybe $2. Most are not delivering a $4/$5 order. Customer tipped $0-$3. I’ve been in a few restaurants & seen bags just sitting, waiting to be picked up. Honestly, this is why i don't patronize many black-owned businesses. Too many of us expect great riches & investments, but don't invest time into treating people, in our own communities with respect. You should have never walked out with your food...It's that liquor talking...Next!" I saw this at The Shrimp Palace, and McDonald's 8/Lahser, and the Checkers 8/Livernois. All 3 went out of business.......
She wouldn’t stop running her “Motorcity mouth” is got sent me 😂 but in all honestly Detroit people are RUDE! It wasn’t until I left the state that I realized that us Detroiters have a different type of attitude. We don’t have a southern hospitality or welcoming attitude when it comes to people we don’t know. It’s a place you’d want to stay for too long 😂
I agree with you. I am from Detroit and I met someone from Atlanta and they shared the same sentiments about the city. I told my cousin that now lives in Dallas that the saying “Detroit vs Everbody” really means Detroit vs. Everybody even going as far to say Detroit vs Detroit that’s the mentality and it sucks because it
is truly a hindrance. When I go down south, they show me love to the point where I’ve often think to myself “I think I could live here”. Nevertheless I am determined to stay and help the next generation be and do better..

@@Lonewolf_1776 no, but there have been 2 times in the past, where he spoke on bad customer service, and the public stop going. As a detroiter i have to say they were wrong as hell but it doesn't represent every restaurant worker in detroit im sure this shyt happens in other cities as well but unfortunately these clowns got caught. One of the restaurants that you went to is right around the corner from me. Customer service is very important in any legitimate business that you have and ppl should know that. I’ve always said this if you can’t handle your own feelings and emotions towards customers in fast food or retail then the job ain’t for you as much bullshit as I had to put up with working all these jobs but I never had an attitude with anyone who comes to the business or calls even if they in the wrong customer service is key and to be as kind as possible smh whoever that person is who got rude with you should get suspended or fired

Thanks for posting this, I'm sure most of us have had situations like this before and you were able to, in a very professional manner, defend yourself and your position. What I'm most astounded by is you will always say "if you're ever in the ... area check this place out" even if it's less than good, or they've treated you poorly, because I know you know the power your reviews have. I enjoy your reviews and your support of the moms & pops who work really hard, even those who need a little help in the customer service area.
On one hand it is nice that he says that, but on the other he probably does it so said places can’t go around and say his review was the cause of loss revenue due to “slander”.
That’s big of you to still let them know you got nothing but love for them and tell folk to patronize their establishment, basically to see for themselves how it goes. Hopefully they will learn from this situation and do better. Blessings to you Chime!
