I tried all these steps and it didn't work whatsoever. So on a whim I decided to reset my computer using the cloud mode I connected to wifi and went through the short list of steps and let it go. The next morning I came downstairs and BAM my computer was up and running.
These steps in these videos are a waste of time.

It means there's no backup files in the regbackup folder so this won't work.
