    I just had SCDF C5-6 & C6-7 on Friday, April 31, 2023.. I woke up and both bilateral arm pain and headaches were gone. I felt like a million bucks after the surgery. In 1995 I was injured in a military incident that involved with exiting a Black Hawk helicopter, landing on my face then the person behind me landing on my legs that caused my whole spine to hyperextend aka scorpion. My left side of my face was on the ground and I literally saw my legs touch the ground behind my head. It was about 2 weeks later I began experiencing problems such as muscle spasms next to my shoulder blades in the mid to upper thoracic regions. Post ACDF survey those spasms have come back with a vengeance, pain levels of a 10, whenever I sit in the toilet and look down pain shoots down my left arm. I had bilateral radiculopathy and expected some pain post surgery but nothing like this. These thoracic spasms are causing more issues currently than the surgery itself. Do you know if trigger point injections may be needed because muscle relaxers not ice are helping. I do get intermittent pain shorting down my arm. I've tried NSAIDS, ice and rubs. I don't know what to do currently about these spasms and pray they go away on their own.

      @@eddiemiranda469 Finally the pain has gotten better since March 31st, 2023. The headaches have also gotten better but they are still there about 4 times a week vs every single day. I know the headaches are coming from C2-3 area and I will have to deal with until such time my whole neck gets fused. I was told years ago that I should expect this with the injury I had, hyperextension of my whole neck and upper thoracic spine. Maybe one day people will not have to go through all of this pain. IMHO our bodies have been weakened on purpose through what they spray on our foods. We have decided that we will be growing our own veggies and buy our meats from local ranchers for now on. 120 years ago you didn't see people with all these issues, big pharma has weakened our bodies.

      @@whatsupdocchemdog5994 do you mean you had surgery in 2022 and in March 2023 the pain subsided ? I'm currently in a similar situation 6 months post 2nd ADCf with C5-C7 fused, so much back pain in the mid region feels like knife stuck in there and I'm scared this is me now for the rest of my life

      @@Cantcallmenow Sorry I had surgery March 31, 2023 and pain subsided within a few months. Surgeon and my PCP said it was a normal post op effect of neck surgery. It went away about 6 months after the surgery.

      My husband just had C3-C7 done , my question to you and I know everyone is different , but the back of his neck is in so much pain , it’s only been 10 days ago the surgery was done . He has no pain in the front where the
      Incision is , it’s all in the back of the neck .
      It hurts my heart to see him like this . The polar ice /water machine is fantastic, so I don’t have to keep using ice packs, i know we alll want quick recovery, but did the back of your neck have a lot of pain ? Thank you

      @@cynthiacullen9695 rub his thoracic area to see if it's muscle spasms. I just had 2 level ACDF C5-7 and thoracic spasms are causing me pain. The surgery took away my bilateral arm pain and headaches but I still get intermittent left arm pain I believe is coming from these stupid muscle spasms.

      @whatsupdocchemdog5994 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yes he said it was normal but all videos I've watch only show the pain to be in upper shoulders. Mine in mid to lower mid thoracic. I have full spine spondylosis and I'm only 54 years old. It all from hyperextending my whole spine in the Army in 1995 after 10 years of service. It's getting better each day, I had to deal with this mess for 27 years now it's nothing new. I just wish they would integrate stem cell treatments with treatments but Medicare will not pay for it which means the VA won't do any treatments. It's awful how they don't want to truly heal humans due to the way they are taught due to Rothschilds institutes of medicines. Sorry just being honest.

    That was disappointing… Not a lot of details expressed at all.

      I'm 8 months into healing and I'm still in the same agonizing pain, all the time... Only upside is that since I woke up from the surgery, the pain hasn't shot down my arms and legs so bad that it was literally paralyzing me. But, nerves still feel tingly.

    I notice Nero surgeons lie alot a dr told me that it was ok to smoke weed after surgery not nicotine well the weed gave me more pain and spasms

    • @ModalGroove
      @ModalGroove 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      nicotine slows your blood flow down and stops you from healing properly... and weed does make it hurt even more. I tried that twice, won't ever try it again
