This song with video is on loop with me in Florida. probably 50 times already now. Once you understand the lyrics, get the video story and of course the impeccable emotional singing of both the singers and the music arrangement, and composition, the layers, the flute, the subtle guitar fills, the vocal dual layers on certain lyrics, it is amazingly beautiful work. The video is just a whole story in itself. Amazingly done. Your reaction was missing. You were one of the two perfect channels I wanted to watch reaction to this song. First one came out literally the same day and I was wondering what was going on with you guys. This song was made for you to react to. Did you guys notice the that goth classic look of Annural. Loved it.

My favorite concept was the lyrical rap, the sheer speed of delivery of the verses….add to that the quality of the 2 gorgeous voices…all building up that feeling of longing and intensifying it! At so many times thru this video I felt my heart capacity was inadequate to hold all the emotions the song evokes.
Just one of the most beautiful masterpieces to come out of Coke Studio (all seasons)…on loop for the 500th time…and it makes no difference that I’m not a Punjabi speaker. Music truly transcends all barriers ❤️

Maanu songwriting still amazes me every damn time. I’ve been listening to this song for millionth time and still here i am sitting in awe… I think this song belongs with me till eternity.

Maanu said in another video, he has written most of the lyrics himself, including Annural’s part. At the very end where there is Annural’s solo before the final chorus , she wrote those lyrics herself. Xulfi added some lyrics at the start. But most of the lyrics are by Maanu 🙌🏻

We’ve seen quite a few firsts in this season in terms of the storytelling. This video is one of them. It’s absolutely mesmerizing, I can’t count how many times I’ve watched it, a perfect complement to the breathtaking song. I think we’ll be seeing more of these in the future. It’s like Xulfi and team are challenging themselves with every video and succeeding and then some. The villain in the story is Sarmad Aftab, a lesser known TV actor, I was blown away by his expressions. The girl who plays Annural’s friend, is Anika, a familiar face from Pakistani dramas. Btw..the guy who goes into Annural’s dressing room is Maanu’s manager Siki.

Than you so freakin much for listening to it multiple times. I have been saying that to reactors who were left confused or wanting and didn't get it properly. It took me 3 watches to fully get the video. But when I did, the song got even better. And I loved your reaction to Transition to Maanu's second verse. That's my absolute favorite part. subbed

i thought its just me but thank you for mentioning about the switching thing and not giving us the break...It felt like they were fighting, the helplessness, the frustration and love for each other cuz they have been yearning and mourning. Ahhh with every listen you can actually feel the pressure of the song as it is actually exposing us all.

The video makes me think of Othello. The Iago guy takes the scarf and plants it in the directors room as Othello guy is already suspicious of the director's work related whispers . When Iago guy confirms his suspicions he doesn't need any more proof. Desdemona girl is totally faithful but she is not given a chance to clear herself.

Zulif is leading the pack in terms of bringing both western and eastern music instruments to create this kind of magic in each of his songs in Coke Studio 15. Urdu and Punjabi being poetic languages provide an edge to write emotional lyrics with much ease and this has been the hallmark and success story so far with Coke studio Pakistan. Most of the soulful songs back in the day after partition were written by Urdu poets like Gulzar, Majrooh Sultanpuri, hasrat jaipuri, nida fazil, qamar jalalabadi etc.

I needed the video explained to me lol. It was a story of jealousy and misunderstanding, I got a bit confused with Annural's assistant and Maanu having kinda the same type of facial hair.

Next time xulfi bhai k sath podcast ho tou ye question zaroor poochiye ga k " are they getting the reward of there one or 2 years of hardwork" ? To finding these hidden talent and working of these scales of thing... Views dekh k tou ye feel nahi ho raha k they are getting what they deserve even it breaks my heart and not this season even season 14 is also very very underrated still... 2 3 songs ko chour k baaki saarey underrated he thy in terms of or compare of what there work is....
