The 2nd wasn't guaranteed to be one because the first one, but it was defined as soon as the 1st one created the 2nd. I guess in the way seeds are, it was defined before it was created for that matter. Those were both gonna be Algiz on any floor, anyways.
Mass Effect Andromeda is a great game. I've got over 50 hours in it so far, and I'm barely 30% through the story. There are tons of things to explore, a lot of side missions, weapon and armor crafting and more. Sure it has some issues, but it's still a really fun game.

ME Andromeda is way better than the hate train would have you believe. That being said, it has the animation issues, it just does, and sometimes it pulls you out of the game. I'm not sure if it is really an NL game though because it's super detail oriented (a bit of a nightmare for completionists), but I feel like you do a disservice to yourself skipping out on different portions. I'm digging it though, it's not a bad game by any means and I felt it was worth the money.
With the Mass Effect franchise, I think it's still under a lot of scrutiny because of the issues with the broken promise of Mass Effect 3. If they're going to release another game trying to keep making it a thing, it's not surprising a lot of people were looking for it to fail.

I've watched both those clip compilations and actual gameplay of ME:Andromeda. Honestly, the gameplay made it look a lot more dull and worse than the stupid writing and janky animation, which at least brought a laugh.
Andromeda isn't nearly as broken as people make it out to be.... not to mention the 1.05 patch fixing the vast majority of issues and animations people bandwagon hated

I paid full price for No Mans Sky the day before they released the disclaimer that detailed the system requirements to run the game. So on top of being disappointed that the game was not what it was supposed to be I had the added disappointment of the game running SUPER slow. Thus far every Steam game I have bought for over $20 has been a huge disappointment. Every Steam game I have bought that was under $20 I am not only happy with, but continue to play on the regular.
