GMC 4x4 Topkick Transformation to the trailer hauler

The new 4x4 GMC Topkick starts the transformation from service truck to the BSF Recovery Team's new toter truck. The service box comes off, some fresh paint, and the flat bed goes on.

I have been following Eric for over 1 1/2 years now. At first I was watching it to see what he would find out in the woods next! I kind of thought he was just a little guy, with not to many skills out playing in the woods with a junk wrecker! Boy, talk about having it all wrong! After watching for a while, I started changing my mind! I got to see the care he took when doing the mechanical work on the wrecker. I started seeing a guy that knows what he is doing, how to do it and do it correctly! I also saw a person that is willing to help others regardless of who they are. Eric, from what I have seen, you are a top notch mechanic and a great guy! I look forward to each of your posts and I never fail to learn something from them! You are someone I would be proud know and call you a friend!

Starting to look like a good looking over the road long hauler for a pretty cool trip coming up!! Can’t weight to see it all finished up!! I was just able to pick up my self another 1TON Chevy 4x4 SRW and it’s the 4 speed manual tranny the SM465 and it has just under 100,000 original miles because it was baught brand new back in 1980 by a fire department and only used to haul water to field fires!! It definitely drives really nice also!!
