Fire Emblem is definitely my favourite Nintendo franchise besides Pokémon. Although the dating sim aspects can be too much for some, it is completely optional and most of the interactions are building trust and making bonds in the support level mechanic, which has use in the gameplay - so it isn't just for "the appeal." The combat is what I like the most, since you can create builds for your characters - enhance, upgrade, pick weapons for your characters of your choosing, increase stats and upgrade classes (character specialties like Archer, Cavalry, Wyvern Knight etc.) and so much more! Up until the recent games Fire Emblem has always had a mechanic which pretty much is just a built-in nuzlocke mode in which if your troops die.. they don't return for the rest of the game, who would have expected! The newest game Engage has a weaker and smaller story then Three Houses, but personally I like that more since I can focus better on the gameplay (which i play the franchise for anyways), it also introduces a new mechanic with the Emblem Rings - protagonists from previous FE games that give cool abilities, skills, weapons to the character which has it equipped, allowing to make more custom builds.. which is always a plus! And a final cool thing is that this game has one of the biggest rosters of characters, so you can experiment more and be less afraid of losing characters (although the game has a time rewind mechanic where you can go back few turns to try again some stuff and not lose characters, but it's balanced by having "only" 10 uses per match) If you're looking for a fun tactical RPG that lets you play however you like and make unique builds that are completely are up to you- I recommend it! A good starter for newcomers is definitely Fire Emblem Awakenings, so yeah.. think about it! P.S. dope episode once again Champions, thanks for giving me a fun afternoon :)
Seeing the champion league talk about xenoblade makes me happy. Hopefully they make a video dedicated to it, it’s that good. Edit: also, 3 legit had the most wild reveal in the ending, holy crap, he didn’t lose, that’s all I’ll say
I had a emotion breakdown when infamous said he doesn’t like donkey Kong. Somebody gotta hook the champions up with 5 copies of Donkey Kong Country tropical freeze.
Kirby is my favorite fictional character, smash bros is my favorite game, and Pokémon is my favorite franchise also how do you say if sakurai makes it then it must be good when Sakurai literally created Kirby
So back in like eighth grade we had like a youth club thing in our town and one day the counselor just brought his old like PS2 and it had Tekken 4 on it so we all played. then this random ass sixth grader girl shows up and she's like "can I play?" so we let her play and she fucked us all up! including the counselor!
Some of the best Nintendo franchises: Mario, Pokemon and Sonic (it's Sega but it has had some crossovers with Mario so I figured it was worth mentioning here). They're the goats Shoutout to Zelda. Not much of the Zelda type but I've heard good things about it
Mario, Zelda and Fire Emblem, but I like the older Fire Emblem games before Awakening. The franchise has gone in a really bad and boring direction sadly, so I have basically stopped playing the games.
@@kaiserexe4072 before samus returns the prime series take between metroid 1/ zero mission and samus returns. Because the metroids were wiped out by samus.

Metroid (Zero Misson) > Samus Return > Super Metroid > Other M > Fusion > Dread. That's the time-line not counting the Prime series I think
The prime series are Canon there just side story according to metroid producer.
