- I explored a brand new vintage store in my town and oh boy, am I in trouble. I can't wait to go back 😭 featuring an accidentally cottagecore-vampire look and honestly, I'm kind of here for it.
(p.s. I know shopping at a vintage store isn't "thrifting" - but youtube likes when I put "thrift with me" in the title so here we are).

oh definitely regency, 70s, and a lil sprinkle of 90s cuban dad 😂
I'm totally into 70's & early 80's these days. I have found some AMAZING pieces this last year and have worked some of the pieces into my very conservative, professional wardrobe for work. Nothing like a tailored black suit with an avacado disco collar peaking out the top or a sheer, high button collar from the 80's!! 👍

Thankfully my neighbors are not on top of me but I can still see them and all I really wanted was to be surrounded by the woods. So while I regret some of my decisions I can live vicariously through you and all of the deer that visit LOL 😍🌲🦌

yeah you nailed the dog breed lol. I like all of those ideas... but contemporary circus wear is TOP O THE LIST!
That vintage shop looks like it could be your play room
I love that you go to the more generic thrift stores like goodwill because that's often all that's available to me (and many others) and I still love going, even if a lot of the items are pretty generic. It's fun to see someone else as excited about that type of treasure hunt as I am.

"Get out of your bag, get into my hand..." *smiles in Billy Ocean memories* I would love to see some more embellishment-type thrift flips (embroidery, applique, etc.) especially with challenging almost-thrown-out garments...like embroidery to cover up or distract from a stain or tear...making the garment wearable again. There are a lot of ashtrades in this style with floral cutout patterns on glass, some smoky old bars have huge ones, bigger than a plate but flater than a bowl

Yes to more of that vintage store, obviously. I'd love to see you thrift-flip some pajamas (or other sleepwear) into something new! It's always fun to see you embroider or hand-paint for thrift-flips too. Where did you learn hand-embroidery? Is it easy to teach oneself, in your opinion?
Hi hi! Uhhh LOVE the PJ flip idea. Genius. & so glad you enjoy the more crafty flips! I’m totally TH-cam-taught when it comes to hand embroidery and I think it’s one of the most beginner-friendly crafts you can try! It’s basically just drawing with thread and if you have a stencil, you can make ANYTHING!
