I like Richard Marx. I didn't know he cowrote that song with Luther 🙏🏾👍
Love him too, didn't know he either that he cowrote the song with the late Luther.
They even won a Grammy for that song.
I met Richard Marx backstage at a concert in the 1990s. He was so absolutely kind and gentle. I love his music and respect him as a person.
“Dance with My Father” was just an awesome song! I still miss Luther to this day.

One of my favourite songs of all time. So very beautiful. And also special to me as I lost my father under tragic circumstances at the end of 2005. And although there was nothing really left unsaid between us, I so very much would have wished to hug him once more, talk to him and so on. So this is also my song. Deep in my heart forever.

Wow!!!! Didn’t know this but richard Marx songs have moved me ever since he came on the music industry . If only the songs now can be sang and written like he did .. I cry all the time and it’s has been 37 years for me and it still touches me .

My father passed away from a massive stroke July 29 th 22 so it has been a year and now I’m in the process off selling my parents house my mom passes away when I was 8 years old 1985 from cancer so I am trying to make it every day with the help of the Lord and I’m the only child they has so it’s just me now😢😢😢😢
