He’s behind hit songs such as ‘Right Here Waiting’ and ‘Hazard’. Richard Marx joins us for a chat ahead of his Royal Albert Hall show to tell us about his new single 'Days to Remember', his close relationship with Barbra Streisand and the story behind him writing the smash hit song ‘Dance With My Father’ with Luther Vandross.

Saw him in Liverpool on Saturday, he was amazing, just brilliant. Vocals still the same. Second time seeing him at the Liverpool Philharmonic (Acoustic set last time), fourth time of seeing him in total. First time at Liverpool University in 89, I’ve still got the ticket stub. Pretty sure on of the actors who was in the Waltons was on guitar. Got every single album, brilliant songs. Great to get to watch him play with his band again like in 89.

Saw him last year in PA. Show was great and I didn't realize at first who he was. I went to the show with my daughters and to see Starship. After the first song I knew the songs and would definitely see him again!

This interview confuses me, because in another interview he revealed that Streisand supposed dismissive, if not rude to him adding that she had no idea who he was. But I digress; the dark hair dye is actually aging him, and he would looks much better (youthful) if he added about 20 or 30 lbs. to his (frail looking) frame.
