I was bullied, bashed, beaten and teased relentlessly every single day of my school days, from the very first day of school to the very last day of school. I'm now 50yrs old and still suffer a great deal of mental illness permanently, and people still treat me like sh*t because of my mental illness. It feels like the world would rather I crawl up into a ball in the corner of the room and die. No one really cares about mental illness, hell I was even told by a Nurse that they can't deal with people who suffer with mental illness. The healthcare system, like doctors for example, are terrible at treating mental health, in fact doctors either make it worse or cause it to begin with. People like me are like ghosts in life, we are nothing.

It is quite possible that I did not suffer to the extent that you did, but it still left it's scars, to this day, and I am not so far off turning 50. Will Poulter came to a youth club I was part of. It was a small club and he shared some of his stories and was very down to earth. He was humble and treated us all equally. What a man.

I remember watching a young Will Poulter in a sadly short lived Channel 4 comedy series called “School of Comedy” and I genuinely thought out of all the talented kids on the screen he genuinely shone and stood out as mini tour de force. He’s thus far had a fascinating career and I really do hope he keeps on getting bigger and better roles. Well done!

I met will in NYC back in 2016 at the Sleep No More immersive theater experience and he was super nice. I immediately recognized him and he and his friend sat down at my brother and I's table and we chatted for about 30 min about the show we just saw and intros etc... I never once acknowledged who he was even tho i (selfishly) really wanted to say i enjoyed his work in The Revenant etc, but i think the fact that i treated him like a normal guy and not a celebrity, he was able to relax and hang out with us and not feel pressured to leave or "put on and act." All that to say is he is every bit as nice as he seems on camera, as he is in real life. AND SUPER TALL. I was shocked when i met him. He also spoke in an American accent too when we met him. I think he was shooting that Chicago police film and was preparing for the role and practicing with his American accent? Either was it was awesome and a very rare experience.

Of all the things I've seen him in, I think he's at his best in The Bear, it feels really authentic and I think the character is a little bit like Will, quite kind hearted, articulate and thoughtful. His performances in the series sort of leave you forgetting you are watching someone acting and it feels more like eavesdropping on a conversation.
Once working for transport for London I bumped into him on the bus along Oxford Street , he was sitting on the top deck . This was around 2014 He was carrying a suit . Yanky accent is very easy to do. Just dumb down your voice, slow it down and pronounce 'R's hard, and there you go.

I love his humor and the fact that he didn't took himself too seriously with that one.

I still watch Maze Runner to this day because of this man and will watch Guardians of the Galaxy because of him.

Of all the things I've seen him in, I think he's at his best in The Bear, it feels really authentic and I think the character is a little bit like Will, quite kind hearted, articulate and thoughtful. His performances in the series sort of leave you forgetting you are watching someone acting and it feels more like eavesdropping on a conversation.
He was fantastic in The Bear! My first exposure to him was seeing him as a bully in Maze Runner. So it was great seeing him multi-faceted in The Bear.
That's not acting he really got emotional, loved this :)

Once working for transport for London I bumped into him on the bus along Oxford Street , he was sitting on the top deck . This was around 2014
He was carrying a suit . Said hello and I remembered him from Son of Rambow which I think surprised him as We’re The Millers probably his biggest film at that time but I forgot about that

Loved him all the way back in his school of comedy days. If you haven’t seen those skits absolutely check them out. That whole cast was brilliant but he was certainly a stand out.
