This tutorial was awesome! Thank you so much for taking time out to explain in detail and to the point of formatting a new SSD and giving time machine pointers, this is invaluable information to us all!!
I'm getting a message when I wake up my computer that I didn't eject my Crucial SSD. I have tried ejecting it but I have to go through the hassle of unplugging the USB C port and plugging it in again to get it seen by the computer again. I don't get that message for my other hard drive, A SanDisk G Drive HDD. I don't think it's risky to not eject the Crucial SSD. What is your opinion on this? Is it advisable to eject the drive before sleeping or shutting down the computer?
You did a great job showing how to format and use Time Machine. Well done. 👏👏
Glad it was helpful!

you should never unplug without ejecting.
but you don’t need to eject if your computer is off.
sleeping in the other hand, you should eject
For some reason this same ssd drive will not let any of my files be larger that 5 gigs??? any idea why?
its because you did not follow this video. So your format is not correct. The format that you currently have will limit how big your file can be
Thank you
