Khalid got me from rank 2 Britain to 7 in 3 months with an on-and-off grind. its very fun, sounds nice, looks pretty and when you can behind some cover, nothings going through nearly 1000mm of turret armour (If angled correctly).
the wyvern is the khalid of air, its REALLY STUPIDLY EASY, 15 days of prem + prem booster = you can grind the entire british propeller and early jets in 2 weeks!
Looking at the Khalid in preview, the turret has a massive 200mm section directly in front of the gunner and commander. I don't see how anyone in the bracket would have a hard time lolpenning it.
@@hyperdimensionbliss if you use British tactics of using terrain and pushing the tank so the chassis is angled up, the turret changes so the round when coning at you has a higher chance of going through all metal, let alone a much higher richochet chance. On top of that, this thing is large af. Ive been disabled and survived for minutes after being shot at by 4 tanks. I ended up nuking that game as well. I’d highly recommend

For those who want the Khalid, he is a solid tank and there won't be that many uptiers with him. But the problem is that reloading a 120mm cannon in just under 10 seconds is dramatic and very nerve-wracking.
@@paranparanovic3923 bro the turms is literally a paper tank, you can BREATE on it and it dies, if you shoot its right side of the turret you hit its INSANELY MASSIVE AUTOLOADER and on the left side you can kill 2 of its 3 crew members and 1 shot it, so hitting it anywhere is most likely a kill

The Porsche Tiger 1 is so good man, one of my few aced vehicles, stick on a corner while angled and only a very lucky or skilled player can take you out
In regard to the armament of the Khalid being poor according to you, I honestly completely disagree with you. I haven't played the Khalid but the Challenger Mk 2 has nearly the same firepower (L23A1 instead but it's negligible) and it's great, I don't see how the Khalid would suffer from firepower especially considering it's 0.7 lower with that same great firepower.
Go take the T72 or the T72 Turms which will be one of the top vehicles you will face in the Khalid. With L23 your only shots are the breach, turret ring, drivers hatch, or lower plate L23A1 can pen the upper frontal plate at 500m does it have holes where it will bounce yes but it also pens more on angle. Most of the 9.3s have a pretty strong rounds DM33 DM63 etc etc Khalid having to be picky about shot placement on most vehicles is a pretty big downside when 3BM42 goes right though you.
I would recommend the Panzer 3 N, it’s a HEAT flinging monster. At 3.0 it’s a blast to play with. I would also recommend the Russian Halftrack, the SU-57 has a 5.1 sec reload and a pretty potent shell and at 2.3. You just have to remember that it can be taken out by machine guns and aircraft being it’s an open-top, just play it like a sniper is my advice.
I will write down on my list of video of possibly doing a video on lower tier premiums to pick up. My rule for this video was it had to be above rank II so it can do dailies, specials and events.
It's funny, the Khalid is good at 9.3 manages to be better than the God awful Chieftain3 at 8.3 just by fixing the 2 biggest issues. Mobility...or lack there of, and the appalling stock round
People make the mistake of picking up way to many Prems during this sell when there is a better sell that lets you get all Prems at 50% of the price, the best thing to do during this sell is to buy maybe 2-3 and then wait tell the better sell but ha its your money do as you wish~
Yh exactly I'm eventually gonna get all russia 10.0 prems and mig 23ml. The premium leapord at 10.3 and the lazur and unless all the packs go 50% this sale all I'm getting in this one is the wolfpack. I will partner it up with the kvt that I got last sale and grind usa untill 50% sales come out. Basically just get 1 or 2 premiums to last you untill the 50% sales.
I'll wait for November sales to get the T-80 UD at -50% to grind the russian tech tree. But cant wait for the premium frenzy and matches that end in minutes.
The General video rule for premiums is above rank II really the only option is the FL10 I played it and it reminded me a lot of the M51 from Israel being that its a Sherman missing a lot of features like 50 cal stabilizer APHE, and what you get is a little bit more pen with a .9 second faster reload then a aced sherman 76. AMX-30 Super is 9.3 so its got the really rough battle rating and the VBC is kinda in the same boat. The packs should be better with the Somua SM.
France is sufferbus atm, Even with leclerc being buffed, they are by far one of the worse top tier mbt´s atm, AND also gets no good IFV/Scouts to backup your mbt´s, Anorther issue is that france seems strongest at 7.7/8.0 atm, so the best french prem is prob the 7.7 heavy, but doubtfully worth it due to the horrible overall techtree after 8.0, and semi weak cas in top tier.(F5 being your best bet but with limited ordinance).

I personally have not played that helicopter but my general rule is if its for grinding the helicopter tree no. Since you can just do that with tanks now. If its a good helicopter or unique helicopter then maybe.
really good, only downside is no thermal which makes it a tad bit harder to spot people. flight characteristics wise, it's a soviet heli, expect great mobility but subpar roll and pitch control. Firepower wise, better than 80% of swedish heli and better than most of its counterparts
swedish choppers are a strugglebus, even tho the prem one is better than most techtree helli´s sweden gets(Mind you sweden is tank/plane nation and not strong in helli´s overall), So your faced with some issues, in ground RB at least. 1 No lineup at 10.7(cept to pull your 10.3/10.0 lineup up in br, and use the AJS37 as cas for it(since it got down br´ed to 10.7). Your 2nd issue is that the Helli has NO air to Air ordinance, so its gonna be hella weak vs CAS or enemy choppers. ESP with the strong 10.3-11.3 choppers that some nations gets.
To be fair, I wouldn't recommend any UK vehicles. They all piss me off one way or the other in some aspect. The Centurion 3 for example, is a 7.7 medium tank with terrible top speed, bad front armor, and an APDS round that's small for its BR and does very little post pen damage. Even the Sherman Fireflies suck; no gun depression with a shell that has no HE filler. You folks get the point.
For Russia the T-80UD is way way way more Worth it then the Turms. Since they released the T-80 there Is no point to getting the Turms since Turms has worse armor, worse firepower and worse mobility.

I very much back up the Sherman III/IV recommendation, it's in my eyes just a better kv1, 130mm protection when angled correctly if you use the corner of a building to hide your turret, take a hit, peek out and kill the enemy before they reload your weakpoint is your turret which is awkward but you are utterly unkillable by like any russian tank you meet or anything in the realm of 100mm~ pen like all the shermans at the BR, amazing corner fighter, like I can easily get a 15 kill game in this thing
Although not mentioned i personally love the BE-6 from Russia, IF, and this is a big IF, you want to or like to use the defensive gunners on it. those guns are the same ones found on the TU-4 and will shred anything you hit, while being fairly tanky as you are a flying boat.
Something about walker bulldog, the APDS has great pen yes, but your primary shell has to be the shot AP. the shot AP(full caliber) does very good post pen damage. I like the walker bulldog.
i love the jackson and the m18 so i use the super hellcat quite often in games ranging from its br to 10.0 its a great tank if yknow how to play it. also its surprisingly survivable sometimes the the turret will bounce panther rounds or make bad leopard players (almost all) run in fear bc ✨ 90mm aphe ✨
So, I need some recommendations for grinding out Russia, Sweden and Japan air and ground. Which vehicles should I buy? I already have the TURMS and the BMP2M for Russia. My current BRs are: Russia: 7.0 Sweden: 5.3 Japan: 2.3-3.3 Was planning to get the CV and draken for sweden. For the Japanese maybe the squadron F5 + Talisman, don't know which ground vehicle tho. Are there better choices for grinding? Appreciate the help
I mean all Squadron vehicles will come at you free if you are in a decent squadron so I would just wait till you get it for free then next sale put a talisman on it. Russia T55AM Sweden CV90-105 Japan is very tricky cause both of the premiums that will be on sale is 9.3 if you would wait for the fuji to go on sale I would do that.
The Italian Sherman is incredibly good, it outperforms the Italian Panzer at 4.0 when I use them both. The armor is much better than other Shermans with rounded corners and it easily plays like a heavy tank, especially at 3.7
Try the swedish sherman, its very good because of no frontal hull weakspot and it has a 500hp engine so it’s very quick. The only downside is it doesn’t have a 50 cal

I have had the xm 1 Chrysler for a very long time now and it has been the best purchase I ever made in Warthunder, it's sitting on a really good br 9.0 and is a mini Abrams. Picking it up is very much worth it and what I can recommend is buying an ace crew for it. If you manage to pick it up I would do that without even thinking. This will be a bit of a long comment so excuse me... would you recommend the Cent Action X to get started on the British Tech Tree? I've been stuck with rank III/IV because the early tanks are so bad for me. The Composito is honestly amazing, I bought it a day before the sale went in but I have no ragrets 😂😂 Whenever I play it every other game in GRB in it is a 10 kill game and I've had at least 3 20+ kill games in Arcade with a 67% win rate in realistic and 70% in Arcade. I second the T20 recommendation for someone who also like Shermans, as it's just a better Sherman in every way, and don't let the 6.3 BR fool you this thing can really hold it's own because of a few points for me: - Prince SL and XP like crazy even if you don't do amazing, just an average game will net you 5K XP & 30-40K SL without premium time, with premium time I've had great games where I got 15K XP & 100K+ SL. - Low as hell profile, unlike the Sherman you can peek really well in this because it's very low with a smaller turret, and also has great gun depression. - American 76, nuff said. - Fast as hell forwards and backwards. - Deceptively survivable if you don't count on your armor.
The action X is pretty good I personally don't have it but from playing the FV4202 which has the same turret it can be extremely bouncy. One of those vehicle that people don't see often so they don't know how to engage it properly. It would be a good pick if you don't have the Centurion mk2 from the previous battle passes.

the only problem with chinu 2 is the br 4.3 for some reason when the better pz4s are all 3.7 but even with the high br its a beast i uptiered it to 5.0 to use with the a7m1 and got a kd of almost 5 with that plane playing air superiority
The only big difference between the Pz IV and the Chi nu is TNT filler iirc Pz IV is 30ish. While Chi nu is about 80 with that other shell. I assume because BR is based on KD the Chi Nu just 1 shots way more often then the Pz IV but yea those vehicles are very similar
France really does not have much for GE premiums over Rank II. FL10 maybe but at the same time I just realized I would rather have the regular 76mm Sherman AMX-30 and VBC are both at the BR where they will just get up tiered 90% of the time at 9.3 9.7
You would have to up tier it to 11.7 if its for grinding no just use the premium tank to research helicopters. If you want something that could be a really good SPAA helicopter then yea pick it up.

Something you didn't mention about the Porsche Tiger: it has insanely high reverse speed. This has obvious implications for long-range hill-peek sniping. More importantly, people don't expect WW2 German tanks to be able to back away quickly, so you can bait people into over-committing and misjudging where you are. I've brawled very successfully with it like that.

K-50 is gonna be your number one enemy. If you good at choppers go on. If not, just grind Sweden helicopter tree on tanks.

i love the jackson and the m18 so i use the super hellcat quite often in games ranging from its br to 10.0 its a great tank if yknow how to play it. also its surprisingly survivable sometimes the the turret will bounce panther rounds or make bad leopard players (almost all) run in fear bc ✨ 90mm aphe ✨
Another great choice for Germany is the kv-1c. Very difficult to kill from the front when it’s angled, plays basically like a tiger 1, but at 5.0

So, I need some recommendations for grinding out Russia, Sweden and Japan air and ground.
Which vehicles should I buy?
I already have the TURMS and the BMP2M for Russia.
My current BRs are:
Russia: 7.0
Sweden: 5.3
Japan: 2.3-3.3
Was planning to get the CV and draken for sweden. For the Japanese maybe the squadron F5 + Talisman, don't know which ground vehicle tho.
Are there better choices for grinding?

I mean all Squadron vehicles will come at you free if you are in a decent squadron so I would just wait till you get it for free then next sale put a talisman on it.

The Italian Sherman is incredibly good, it outperforms the Italian Panzer at 4.0 when I use them both. The armor is much better than other Shermans with rounded corners and it easily plays like a heavy tank, especially at 3.7
Try the swedish sherman, its very good because of no frontal hull weakspot and it has a 500hp engine so it’s very quick. The only downside is it doesn’t have a 50 cal

I have had the xm 1 Chrysler for a very long time now and it has been the best purchase I ever made in Warthunder, it's sitting on a really good br 9.0 and is a mini Abrams. Picking it up is very much worth it and what I can recommend is buying an ace crew for it. If you manage to pick it up I would do that without even thinking. You can check out my stats on it in game my name ingame is Luke4910 clan is ro6 if there is several.
Conclusion: very very worth

This will be a bit of a long comment so excuse me... would you recommend the Cent Action X to get started on the British Tech Tree? I've been stuck with rank III/IV because the early tanks are so bad for me.

Whenever I play it every other game in GRB in it is a 10 kill game and I've had at least 3 20+ kill games in Arcade with a 67% win rate in realistic and 70% in Arcade.
I second the T20 recommendation for someone who also like Shermans, as it's just a better Sherman in every way, and don't let the 6.3 BR fool you this thing can really hold it's own because of a few points for me:
- Prince SL and XP like crazy even if you don't do amazing, just an average game will net you 5K XP & 30-40K SL without premium time, with premium time I've had great games where I got 15K XP & 100K+ SL.
- Low as hell profile, unlike the Sherman you can peek really well in this because it's very low with a smaller turret, and also has great gun depression.
- American 76, nuff said.
- Fast as hell forwards and backwards.
- Deceptively survivable if you don't count on your armor.
The action X is pretty good I personally don't have it but from playing the FV4202 which has the same turret it can be extremely bouncy. One of those vehicle that people don't see often so they don't know how to engage it properly. It would be a good pick if you don't have the Centurion mk2 from the previous battle passes.

Really depends air RB the SU11 is better ground RB SU9 and 11 basically the same but the SU9 does get air brakes

the only problem with chinu 2 is the br 4.3 for some reason when the better pz4s are all 3.7 but even with the high br its a beast i uptiered it to 5.0 to use with the a7m1 and got a kd of almost 5 with that plane playing air superiority
The only big difference between the Pz IV and the Chi nu is TNT filler iirc Pz IV is 30ish. While Chi nu is about 80 with that other shell. I assume because BR is based on KD the Chi Nu just 1 shots way more often then the Pz IV but yea those vehicles are very similar

France really does not have much for GE premiums over Rank II. FL10 maybe but at the same time I just realized I would rather have the regular 76mm Sherman AMX-30 and VBC are both at the BR where they will just get up tiered 90% of the time at 9.3 9.7

If you're not getting the 2C Bis, you're wrong.
Something you didn't mention about the Porsche Tiger: it has insanely high reverse speed. This has obvious implications for long-range hill-peek sniping. More importantly, people don't expect WW2 German tanks to be able to back away quickly, so you can bait people into over-committing and misjudging where you are. I've brawled very successfully with it like that.
