You can compare Dimash with other singers if talking about some specific aspects, but if you take in consideration all what Dimash is able to do, than…there is no way to compare him with any other singer. Dimash current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and one semi tone (C#1 - D8),that is,what he shows to us,don't be surprised, if vocal range will be bigger. The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).
A few months later Dimash sang this song as a guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the competition 'Slavic Bazaar 2018'. (He himself will no longer participate in competitions.)

Dimash current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and one semi tone (C#1 - D8),that is,what he shows to us,don't be surprised, if vocal range will be bigger. Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes).
