I've tried to do that LA airport run to save money before, but I always regret it. I feel like Newman trying to figure out the interstate bottle redemption scheme. It's a 2.5 hour drive each way, assuming you don't get caught up in some horrible traffic. So you spend an extra 5 hours on the road and pay for all that gas and wear and tear and then you have to pay for parking when you get there. Speaking from experience, there is nothing worse than having to drive a couple of hours AFTER you just traveled by air 4-5 hours or more in a cramped plane. Plus, the San Diego airport is such a breeze and the international terminal is pretty modern. And there are direct flights to London from San Diego. No, I prefer just to pay the extra money and take an Uber to the airport.
I think you guys are awesome! I simply cannot wait to visit this city - it is top of my list! Thanks for all your amazing advice :) Best wishes from Cape Town, South Africa
My fiance and I were thinking about moving.. he currently lives in Cincinnati and i live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. SD was in our list and watching you guys videos we decided we will move to SD when the Pandamic is over! Thank you for all the insights. You guys are very helpful!!
Thank you so much for the San Diego hacks. Your video is so helpful and informative especially the hacks for parking, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, military discounts. My San Diego experience will be much greater now.
I have been binge watching you guys as you two are super informative! I finish my bachelor here in The Netherlands this year and am able to get an internship in the US for 12 months when I get my certificate. I still have to chose a location to live but San Diego is currently at the top of my list! I have lived in New York for my minor and internship for an accumulative 6 months (sadly cut short due to Covid) and am ready to explore some more early next year!! Many many thanks
Love these videos, thanks! Would be good to see “best places to live for ____” type videos, e.g. young couples, families with kids, young professionals, etc. Keep up the great work!
