Thanks for this . I had to pull out the just the light and sensor module to fix one of the map light fittings I busted trying to fit LED replacement lamps. Saved me a lot of grief.

How do I remove the mic/speaker that is in the midle? I cant figure it out....
Had my Sunglass holder replaced by a dealer The following evening turned my map light on to check on something. The dome light was loose WTF took the plastic dome lens of to discover it was loose because the idiot who did the job didn't clip in the metal tab on the rear portion of the clip. This video helped solve my dilemma without having to go back to the dealer

I will add it to my list of video's i plan on doing. I will be doing a video on how to remove the interior door trim so it may be part of that, but i may also make a separate video just for the handle that way people can look for that specifically. Thanks for the idea, it is much appreciated and if you think of anything else let me know and i will try and make it
Take it to Ford, they will replace it under a safety recall with a part that won't break
Thanks for the video. Had a roof console without the glassesbox, that broke, so ordered one like the video above.. Just a quick question if you can remember; That metal frame, where does it connect to? Or does it rest on the lining itself? (because I do not have that metal frame right now, the console is hanging from the liner, but i can order it)
The bracket doesnt connect to anything just resting on the liner as shown in part diagram UC9P68YC2 64-278
My replacement holder came from China via the big 'A' company; took about an hour to figure out why the light panel wouldn't click back up. Two locating lugs on the sides of the hole were made too big...I cut wawy half of ech one and it fits perfectly.

Can you confirm the Ranger and BT50 roof console is the same please? The rear plastic clips broke when dropping the roof lining to fit a roof rack to my 2013 BT50. Looking to get a replacement from a wrecker.
unfortunately i cant confirm this, but if you research the parts for both year models it should give you an idea
Can you do a video how to remove the headliner? I’m looking into either spraying mine or replacing it with a black one but I don’t know how to remover the headliner and would love to know how you do it. 👍🏼 thanks!
It's a video I may be able to do in the future, but because it is such a time consuming task I may not be able to do it any time soon, my advice Would be if your going to do it is to remove all of the fittings on the headlining, then remove all of the pinch weld rubbers from around the door frames, when I did the roof console I noticed that there are items placed on the headlining so that is something to consider when removing the headlining. I hope this info helps

@@scottferris7235 my advice would be to watch other videos of how people have removed headlinings out of other vehicles, and see if there is any common methods that they use and apply them to the way you choose to remove it
What a revelation. Life saving vid. Don’t suppose you know how to remove the trim behind front seat belts.(older rangers have a removable cap under the”airbag logo) mine doesn’t.

These don't last...those clips break after a few years..the supports screwed on as well...sooo find a way to add some extra support before that happens
