Springvale Suburb in the City of Melbourne, Australia

Springvale is a suburb in the south east of Melbourne, approximately 20km from the CBD. Springvale is one of the most diverse suburbs in Australia and is renown for it's Vietnamese community, markets, shops, and eateries. Many Vietnamese people moved into Springvale in the 70s & 80s due to displacement from the Vietnam war therefore making the largest population in the area.

In the 1960s the Springdale the Springvale town Hall had lovely dancers and they all looked like they were going to the white house or these beautiful evening dresses and ballroom
