I chose not to stay and fight. If the South doesn't seem on the verge of victory, the pendulum has usually swung against them. There is always the chance, with the union Baggage Train unpacked so close to the line, that the South could break them, but IMHO this was a decided battle. In Pub Battles anything can happen, however.
