  • This is the 2nd Amendment Men's Diamond Ring 3D Jewelry Design Modeling and Rendering Tutorial
    In this tutorial, I create a 2nd Amendment Men's Diamond Ring Design from scratch, using Blender 3.6... Complete Ring Design.
    The idea for this tutorial was given by the winner of a small guessing contest I ran on social media last week. The winner had to give the idea for the new 3D jewelry modeling tutorial. You have been served!
    4K 60 fps where available

    Its cool to see someone using Blender for Jewelry creation. Do you have add ons that you recommend for using Blender for jewelry creation?

    Hello, as always enjoy your work! Always something new to learn watching your tutorials and a different approach. What caught my interest was you using ennis exr for your scene lighting. For the life of me I could not find any links on the internet to download or any explanation as to why it would be beneficial to use it as opposed to traditional HDRIs. I would appreciate your input on the matter.
    True fan, keep up the good work!

      Thanks. Keep up the good comments! For the EXR, I've just searched again to check google "ennis.exr" around the 4th result should be USC Institute for Creative Technologies page and scroll down. The 3rd image is the Ennis-Brown house. The EXR format has more features than HDR, like alpha transparency, though most people are not aware and colorspace is harder to work with. EXR is absolutely necessary to make compositions in animations though

    how did you adjust the greayscale on the 1911 so well

    • @RohrbachJewelryDesign

      The original image was already pretty good. I did some corrections in CorelDraw/PhotoPaint and the handle to make it lighter so it wouldn't sink, and replaced some elements by new ones I made to even out the scale. But yes mostly, find a good image to start with, otherwise this technic ends in disaster (as you might already have experienced 😄)

      So you think by posting the same demands over and over on every video you are going to be so likeable??? Not at all. And also you obviously just discovered my channel and have not supported my work in any dimension.

    Great tutorial!!
    Is there any reason to use blender 3.6 and not the blender 4.1?

    • @RohrbachJewelryDesign
      @RohrbachJewelryDesign  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. Blender 4.1 is all geometry node oriented, which is great. But depending the project, Blender 3.6 is more optimized.

    You don't use luxcore anymore?

    • @RohrbachJewelryDesign
      @RohrbachJewelryDesign  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have Luxcore 2.8 installed running in Blender 3.6... When I need the highest render quality I always use Luxcore. You want a new tutorial?

      @@RohrbachJewelryDesign oh cool. You can do tutorial or whatever you feel like :) i’m currently experimenting with old LuxRender and Blender 2.78. I am amazed with the quality but its a little too buggy and slow. But gem dispersion looks quite a bit better then in new LuxCore (its because old Lux was spectral renderer that handles light a little bit differently)
