- This video was filmed in 1993 but was very badly damaged, I have tried to salvage as much as I can but unfortunately it does jump around a bit in the first few minutes. I think the second half at Beaver Creek is quite enjoyable especially with the music !!
thank you for sharing your lovely memories! I really enjoyed watching the older pleasure beach come back to life from my own memory through your video !
Glad you enjoyed it!
fun fact this ride is still in use around the UK, its currently owned by showman Stewart Robinson and can be seen at fairs like The Hoppings
Some good shots of past rides.Nice to see the Tagada out in the open.
Magical memories, thanks for sharing
This video is amazing. Brilliant, happy times. Thanks for sharing
When the Pleasure Beach had charactor and charm. Both of which have long gone unfortunatly.
What character and charm? People come to the Pleasure Beach for the rides not for the character and charm
1993 and Dr Alban...brilliant! Great video.
That's the Blackpool that I remember :)
That G Loc machine at start, in arcade on front at south, was super expensive but bloody awesome.
Rides I can identify are the monster, water chute/splash, flying machines, grand national, tagada, the rollercoaster (nick streak now?), monorail, mini whip, magic mountain, caterpillar.
Thanks for the memories 😂
This is 1993, the year before the Pepsi Big Max was opened in 1994, so it was being built.Such a shame that many of the older rides have gone. My favourite amusement was the Funhouse, that had not long been destroyed by an arsonist, where everyone had to have stockingfeet. It was never rebuilt and Valhalla water ride built where it was.
The actual name of this machine is the sega R360 for obvious reasons, but it was a good machine, do you know it was possible to have 2 of them connected together, so you can dog fight, but due to the cost of this set up i think the only places that had them were in vegas
Tegada…thank you
I loved going on the little whip
God I miss the tagada. :.(
Great memories BPB was so much better in those days, always packed.
Yes it was!
great video that spinning wheel ride was ace cant remember the name of it
Tagada !
Thanks
Finishing on the grand national , great
The spinning circus theme ride at about 3:41..I have been looking for a picture of this for years and years! Every single person I have asked if they remember this ride or not, have always said no. So much so, that I started to think I might have dreamt it. I never got to go on this as it always seemed broke when I went. Do you know what is called by any chance. So glad you put this video up!
Hi, I think it was called Togada or something like that.
Did you know it’s still around? But now on the travelling funfair circuit with the Robinsons! Search up Robinson’s Tagada to find videos
When the park was free for all to enter, then greed kicked in and they wanted more and more.
Or maybe they were losing money and had to change up their admission? How do you know it boils down to greed did you work in Park management or something?
@@masterknife8423 Apparently the fee was designed to keep out the idiots.
the fee was to keep out the trouble makers and it worked
Chubby Brown was a national treasure to be fair
Did you know the ride at 5:05 is still around? On the travelling circuit with Robinson family. Search up Robinson’s Tagada to find videos
Hey Mesmo! :)
Avoided the 360 whenever and wherever I saw it as I knew I'd throw up.
Omg 7:10 looks so funny ;)
Thought so I thought that was nick streak when it was called Rollercoaster.
Ye I still call it rollercoaster
