John states that he does not understand why the United States is behaving in ways to increase world tension. This suggests that his unarticulated assumption is at the United States wants a predictable and lasting world peace. I think the argument can be sensibly made that US policy is not about this, but rather about, spreading global chaos, and benefitting from the results of this.

With the Ukraine war drawing near an end soon, people are talking about a new battlefront in Finland. And they also talked about a clash in the South China Sea as well as the big one across the Taiwan Strait. Nowadays, the U.S. can only depend on its weapon sales to keep its economy going while everything else is crumbling before their own eyes. Chaos, wars, destructions and deaths are the only things the U.S. cares about, to make the big donors in the military-industrial complex happy. No wonder everyone is trying to stay away from the U.S. like a plague.

As long as a peaceful conflict resolution is on the table, China wouldn't want to harm Taiwan, a prosperous part of itself. And yes, that's a deterrence to a military conflict resolution. But China's defenses and the island chain strategy need to be taken into account too. However, continued dialogue and peaceful resolution efforts are crucial in avoiding a military conflict.

It is hard to imagine how the USA would respond to any attack on its territory, September 11 proved it was total confusion and aftermath war for twenty years in Afghanistan, at that time we had been attracted by a couple of Arab boys. Prof. Mearsheimer, China has Rocket Force with DF missiles. DF 27 has a range of 5000 miles and can reach Hawaii. It is a Mach 18 wave-rider that is impossible to intercept and nimble to sink carriers. The US Navy and Air Force would be doomed without carriers and military airports. Without the Air Force and Navy, the US Army is a defenseless target. Let me say it again, the DF missiles are too fast and nimble to intercept. So, what can stop China from winning?

The professor finds Taiwan useful given 'strategic' value and thus worth defending?
Keep in mind, P, that its Ts lack of declaration (by choice strategically) that is allowing for the delay in them being crushed like a porcelain vase between 2 superpowers. 😉
    SIM analysis:
The value here is in Taiwans testimony as a nation that lives by example when it comes to doctrine. And if there is any superpower that can point that out and make it known before hand, do it while you can, because the second you advance position you will become defeated in your testimony. (Due to ulterior motive and the cause by 2 players whos cause between each other go prior to this cause. (And outside cause-date-event with regard to Taiwans identity (despite who thinks have layed claim to their success other than by the Taiwanese people themselves.)
When you think about this fact (due to player 3 and 4 opposing views given doctrine, who leads by example given testimony better than the taiwanese people them selves, especially by doctrine?)
Finally, the best example is by the identity of the Taiwanese people themselves, rather than one projected onto them by the intention of 2 players in opposition?
For example, can player 4 still identify by character, identity and doctrine with Taiwan despite the ownership and control factor issue, especially as hyped by player 3 due to doctrine?
Does player 3 realize the loss of identity to be had by the Taiwanese if they become assimilated?
If player 4 does assimilate them, and their is a loss of identity, so will the loss of their progress.
When you consider this, it will be 4s loss of that progress if that assimilation is forced, but if they are willing to do this, it would only be to do it to spite player 3s efforts. Primary objective exposed. And this would further prove my earlier point that any player despite their position who advances will find their primary objective is the same and to Taiwans detriment. (Again, given the cause against each other, more than the cause for Taiwan.)

The USA is going to nuke India (and everyone else) if they get involved in a Nuclear War against Russia and China. Because they "think" they can survive it with 20% or so of the population (which is delusional) and they don't want anyone to be stronger than those 20%. Insane criminals.

Trading Taiwan with China can rebuild the friendship between the US and CPC since WW2. It's in the best interest of the US and China. China can guarantee Israel's long-term security problem with the US as a return for trading with Taiwan.

It's not in the best interest of the fascists, who want more money for the MIC. The existence of the MIC is proof enough the US is a fascist state.
      *MIC = military industrial complex
