Chicken fried steak is steak that's fried like fried chicken. Chicken fried chicken is a boneless chicken breast that's been flattened out to be kinda steak-shaped, then fried like chicken fried steak. 🤪
That's what I get all the time there. Literally one of my favorite dishes there.
We have a cracker barrel by me. I've ate there for years and just recently learned since I started following van/ camping life you can stay . ❤ they have great food and great portions.
Chicken Fried Steak is a Texas staple. It's often round steak pounded tender then battered and fried like chicken pieces hence the name with country cream gravy. YUMMO!
OMG Cracker Barrel’s biscuits are addictive ❤. My mum loved shopping there if we stopped by for dinner. Dad would roll his eyes and wait in one of the rockers. You guys are living my dream out there. Enjoy this beautiful country.😊
Bear was super cute licking the ice cream container - first time we have heard him growl? Totally agree on the bathroom rule #5. I remember going into the bathroom at McDonalds in Hollywood, one morning, years ago, and there must of 5 people in there washing themselves using the basin - YUK!

If you really want to rough it, in the U.S. has BLM (Bureau of Land Management) where they have unoccupied land that you can stay on for free.
I've stayed at a hotel right next to the Crackle Barrel in Missoula.

If you think it stays light pretty late down there, just wait until you come to Alaska and see the sun out past midnight.
Good value for getting nicks overnight accommodation. Good size food portions with no cleaning up. Can't be picky (keto) eaters though I would imagine. Overall, the cracker-barrel experience works well for short stays. You are getting your bearings with the RV lifestyle and it is interesting to watch. Thanks :-}

Guys, HUGE caveat for you, please: If your darling doggie goes doo-doo, you must clean it up, scoop the poop, and leave no trace. Baggies are quite handy, for this chore, FYI. And, we Yanks are strict about leaving no doodys behind.
I never knew you could park at cracker barrel. Where we stay for the winter in the states the Cracker Barrel there is usually 2 hour wait. You never showed the nice clothes they have in their store. Happy travels

Loving the content guys. Thinking of moving into a mobile home as I get older. Less maintenance and I don't need much shit. My kids might be a bit worried about where they're gonna sleep when they come over. They're used to big Australian family homes. What do you reckon? Don't want to travel as much as you guys do though. 😂
