But what happens a lot of time is that when we are forced, with or without a calendar, to lose a physical and functional part of ourselves in a traumatic way which an accident or a surgery is, is that in the "after" psychological process, no one considered ever how this changes how we see ourselves responding to the world prior created, full of people with an image of us not working anymore. And most times loving after that hurt worst than everything, because you would just start again and find your way to love as with what you are now, and not the whole prior stuff. We broke ourself in this.
Arizona and Callie handled not wanting kids situation perfectly. They let each other go and broke up because they didn’t want to hold each other back. Owen Hunt should take some notes and not expect his significant other to “change their mind” and want kids later in life, ie. Cristina and Amelia smh
If you look closely OWEN IS THE PROBLEM and he killed almost every good character he suggested George to go for trauma in army and that man got killed I know he was trying to save the lady but he was off duty that day because he was going to meet his mom and he died thanks to Owen and then this plane crash he was the chief for fuck same you need to check the background of the companies with whom you are dealing and his negligence costed us mark and Lexie and Cristina leaving for swizz and Arizona and Callie got divorce that man ruined everything and also do not forget how he reacted when Cristina got the abortion 💀and yet Shonda or whoever is running this show keeping this man alive God knows why🙂
Can I just give a shoutout to these two amazing actresses! As much as I hated their fighting in the later seasons, their emotions and voices and expressions were so real and raw! I don’t think anybody else besides Ramirez and Capshaw could portray these two characters in such a moving way ❤️
I just finished season 12 and I realized that was the last season I would be able to see Calzona scenes. Callie and Arizona were the most amazing couple in grey's and I can't believe how all ended. I'm just hoping that ABC decides to do a spin off of they two and how is their life's in NYC.

25 minutes of uninterrupted Calzona? I´m in heaven! When people ask me about who´s the best couple in Grey´s I always come back to Callie and Arizona. No matter what the writers threw at them they could withstand it, because a love of that kind only comes along once in a lifetime. The cheating storyline was such poor writing, and not consistent with Arizona´s character. And as such it should never have happened. It would have been so much more valuable and powerful to have a couple overcome the hardships they faced in s9 and come out of it stronger than ever. And what´s more important; Calzona deserved so much better.
I absolutely love this video, I keep coming back to it whenever I miss these two. Most people who watch this video tend to be on Callie's side, saying how much Arizona hurt Callie and that Callie deserved better. Funny enough, I'm one who used to be totally against Arizona before watching this, so it had the opposite effect on me. They both hurt each other, that's a fact. But I'm impressed at how much Arizona did for Callie and people usually don't notice. Arizona was the first one to show interest, and since the beginning there was a succession of giving up things for Callie and being by her side on tough moments. When Callie told her family she was with a woman and her father took away her money Arizona was the one to be with her. She talked to her father, she was in part reason for Callie's father to reconsider. Arizona didn't want kids and she had the right to do so. Then the shooting happens and it makes her realize she wants to be with Callie no matter what. A big chance of growing in her career comes up, and she wanted this for a long time, but Callie doesn't like it instead of supporting her. Arizona goes, but misses Callie so much she decides to give up her chance of a career growth to come back to Callie... Only to find out she's already been with someone else and is pregnant. Seriously, people? Not saying Callie didn't have the right, she did, Arizona had broken up with her. But you can't tell me this is something most women would take lightly. Not only Callie had the baby as she basically kept the baby's father around 24/7, almost living with them, even after she and Arizona decided to come back together. Ironically enough, Mark himself is the one to open Callie's eyes for this: Arizona has to live everyday around the man who is the father to her wife's baby and the circumstances in which that baby was conceived didn't help. Even then Arizona loved that baby, she never rejected it, she was jealous of Mark but never tried to take him out of Callie's life. She was on her bedside when Callie had the car accident. Having watched recently the sessions in therapy I've noticed Callie is a very emotional person who has trouble with Arizona's more closed up nature. Arizona is the daughter of a military and the influence is great in her family, she cries when she has to argue with any authority figure and so despite being very open with kids and even outgoing, she's not the emotional type like Callie who loves celebrating birthday parties and dreams of being a mother. They contrasted in a very delicate point for both of them, that's why they went into a conflict. Callie keeps saying she doesn't see Arizona saying the things she love about Callie frequently, but Arizona has shown ever since to that point how much she had already given up for Callie... Callie wanted her to show in words, because Callie is someone who needs constant reassurance, what Arizona has been showing in her acts. Arizona, with her military family background is more insecure than she'd like to believe, that's why she stands her ground when something emotionally overwhelms her and tries to change things she believes in (she says her father's entire life was based on honoring his father's sacrifice, so Arizona learned how to be just like that, standing firm to what she believes), so she breaks up with Callie when Callie wants a baby, when Callie wants to stop her from going to Africa and when Callie cuts her leg off to save her life. The leg is such a huge adaption compared to the other two... At any moment she could have decided to no longer being a mother, no longer being married to Callie, no longer living in USA and going back to Africa.... But the loss of a leg is something she can't undo. And we have strong reactions to when our power of choosing is taken away. She has just gone through an airplane crash, she saw people die, Cristina is stronger than her and came back the way she did, let alone Arizona... It's not that she doesn't value the fact that Callie saved he life, but I believe she was very disturbed and desperately wanting to go back to when things were still under her control. A normal reaction to everyone in this situation. There are, unfortunately, many situations of people who had just become paralyzed and the adaptation is so difficult they just try to kill themselves. You still feel your legs there, they still hurt, but they're not there. That hurts psychologically. Also, that was just a glimpse of what her brother sees at war, her father and grandfather saw, and suddenly she realizes what it really means to be in a life and death situation and that she's not as strong as she'd like to believe she is. So she runs and focus on one thing she can blame for all the confusion inside her head. It's not about the leg, really. It's everything coming down on her and Callie really didn't know how to react to this, most of us didn't know. It's comprehensible. Not to say Shonda did an amazing job and didn't make mistakes with these two... but I feel like people tend to side with Callie because we see her cry and be very emotional, we see her passion about things and we don't get that from Arizona with the same intensity. Callie didn't change her life much, apart from facing her parents, she had Arizona and Mark and the baby with her while being successful in her career till the end, but Arizona had to give in and take a lot to be with Callie, changing life decisions she had already made for herself. She decides to break up with Callie because it's so emotionally overwhelming for her, and later she really needed support and Callie didn't know how to react to a trauma this big. So yeah, probably no one will read all of this but I wanted to speak my mind as I come here so many times lol I absolutely love your video! Keep up the good work! Cheers

Callie is my baby😩 I loved her since she was first introduced. She definitely deserved better when it come to relationships. With George cheating on her and then Arizona cheated too MY GOSH I’m actually hurting for her. But at the end I’m glad she got her baby like she always wanted and she had an amazing friend , Mark, who was always there when she needed him. Even though they didn’t work out I’m glad Callie had that wonderful beginning of her relationship with Arizona ❤️ beautiful edit

I love how on AZ's bday when she loses her patient Callie gets her donuts- it's a direct throwback to the season 6 premiere when George dies and AZ says donuts helped her a little during her brother's death. Donuts are their thing, along with "eating pizza in bed" (from the episode where Callie is broke and they both say they like pizza better than sandwiches) :)
Every couple is thinking about break-up should take a moment, just a second to look back at where they've started. Remember the things that they've been fighting for. Remember how hard it was just to be with each other. And remember how happy it comes from the little things... Its not from one person who makes the relationship, it takes two to call "relationship". Arizona and Callie are always one of the best lesbian couple who proved that "Love is Love"; "We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve".
I am so upset by how they grew apart. Totally forgot how they were. They stopped being together and started to be against each other. This breaks my heart. I think the way they held each other at an arm length at one stage is sad. They had anger for each other, and slowly it started to bring coldness in this relationship. The whole leg loss was just a breaking point. Arizona didn’t suddenly feel she is not together with Callie. It surely happened before; somehow inside her it was not working. At the time kids option came up? Mark entered their relationship? No one knows when Arizona thought she isn’t together with Callie. Callie felt betrayed and had to fight dirty because she was hurt and I think she couldn’t allow Arizona to fight for Sofia .. i hope they survive it as grown women. They deserve to acknowledge their wounds and grow together if they still maintain that love for each other. Also can we acknowledge how Arizona still recalls things as “Callie broke her heart” but not by them both hurting each other? It’s like Arizona didn’t realize she could’ve hurt Callie badly and equally! I always will enjoy Callie better because she is direct forward and she doesn’t do passive aggressive things. Arizona is very difficult at some points because she isn’t as open and apparently she still doesn’t seem to think of Callies wounds too or her own doing in all of this. It takes two people to make things work or make them not.
She didn’t understand that if she wasn’t dying Callie wouldn’t have took her leg but also what she went through with the plane crash was brutal and it took a toll on her. And as for saying no one hurt her like Callie I believe she was referring to Callie trying to take her to court for sole custody. That still is unforgivable because she got coworkers on her side
@@tracefaceta869 Yeah Callie became pretty vindictive and I was so glad she lost that battle. Yeah the hospital turned against Arizona and how could anyone with a heart do that. Arizona is the noble one -- the good man in the storm as she told Callie's father -- she loves your daughter and I take care of the ones I love. A great story and we all know how shallow some people can be -- better to remain neutral rather than take sides.

Pinja I think it’s always an interesting take with the things that happen between these two, me personally, I don’t see not wanting a baby as screwing up I see that as just a lifestyle that arizona has a right to want as well as callie having the right to want a baby. even the africa thing, yes it’s brutal the way their relationship ended there but to play devils advocate arizona had a life changing opportunity at her feet which she wanted for years before meeting callie and even though no one wanted her to break it off with callie it can be understood why she took that shot, those two times I see that as arizona thinking her own methods were for the best for callie etc. the cheating is another story, it’s a huge screw up (and I think a case of bad writing on her character) and it should never have happened but there they were trying to show that arizona’s trauma/depression with her leg being lost led to cheating (again bad writing) which callie didn’t deserve at all and I hated every minute of it and still do to this day. I think it always depends on which angle you take to decide if one deserves the other or not but this was a very intense relationship with many highs as well as lows, the video isn’t to spark debate on who’s team people are on because that’s been going on for too long, it’s to commemorate both leading ladies as individuals and as a couple. I guess the only thing to hope is that arizona’s priorities for her family trump her priorities in everything else now that it’s likely they’ve gotten back together.

If you look closely OWEN IS THE PROBLEM and he killed almost every good character he suggested George to go for trauma in army and that man got killed I know he was trying to save the lady but he was off duty that day because he was going to meet his mom and he died thanks to Owen and then this plane crash he was the chief for fuck same you need to check the background of the companies with whom you are dealing and his negligence costed us mark and Lexie and Cristina leaving for swizz and Arizona and Callie got divorce that man ruined everything and also do not forget how he reacted when Cristina got the abortion 💀and yet Shonda or whoever is running this show keeping this man alive God knows why🙂

25 minutes of uninterrupted Calzona? I´m in heaven! When people ask me about who´s the best couple in Grey´s I always come back to Callie and Arizona. No matter what the writers threw at them they could withstand it, because a love of that kind only comes along once in a lifetime.
The cheating storyline was such poor writing, and not consistent with Arizona´s character. And as such it should never have happened. It would have been so much more valuable and powerful to have a couple overcome the hardships they faced in s9 and come out of it stronger than ever. And what´s more important; Calzona deserved so much better.

I absolutely love this video, I keep coming back to it whenever I miss these two. Most people who watch this video tend to be on Callie's side, saying how much Arizona hurt Callie and that Callie deserved better. Funny enough, I'm one who used to be totally against Arizona before watching this, so it had the opposite effect on me. They both hurt each other, that's a fact. But I'm impressed at how much Arizona did for Callie and people usually don't notice. Arizona was the first one to show interest, and since the beginning there was a succession of giving up things for Callie and being by her side on tough moments. When Callie told her family she was with a woman and her father took away her money Arizona was the one to be with her. She talked to her father, she was in part reason for Callie's father to reconsider. Arizona didn't want kids and she had the right to do so. Then the shooting happens and it makes her realize she wants to be with Callie no matter what. A big chance of growing in her career comes up, and she wanted this for a long time, but Callie doesn't like it instead of supporting her. Arizona goes, but misses Callie so much she decides to give up her chance of a career growth to come back to Callie... Only to find out she's already been with someone else and is pregnant. Seriously, people? Not saying Callie didn't have the right, she did, Arizona had broken up with her. But you can't tell me this is something most women would take lightly. Not only Callie had the baby as she basically kept the baby's father around 24/7, almost living with them, even after she and Arizona decided to come back together. Ironically enough, Mark himself is the one to open Callie's eyes for this: Arizona has to live everyday around the man who is the father to her wife's baby and the circumstances in which that baby was conceived didn't help. Even then Arizona loved that baby, she never rejected it, she was jealous of Mark but never tried to take him out of Callie's life. She was on her bedside when Callie had the car accident. Having watched recently the sessions in therapy I've noticed Callie is a very emotional person who has trouble with Arizona's more closed up nature. Arizona is the daughter of a military and the influence is great in her family, she cries when she has to argue with any authority figure and so despite being very open with kids and even outgoing, she's not the emotional type like Callie who loves celebrating birthday parties and dreams of being a mother. They contrasted in a very delicate point for both of them, that's why they went into a conflict. Callie keeps saying she doesn't see Arizona saying the things she love about Callie frequently, but Arizona has shown ever since to that point how much she had already given up for Callie... Callie wanted her to show in words, because Callie is someone who needs constant reassurance, what Arizona has been showing in her acts. Arizona, with her military family background is more insecure than she'd like to believe, that's why she stands her ground when something emotionally overwhelms her and tries to change things she believes in (she says her father's entire life was based on honoring his father's sacrifice, so Arizona learned how to be just like that, standing firm to what she believes), so she breaks up with Callie when Callie wants a baby, when Callie wants to stop her from going to Africa and when Callie cuts her leg off to save her life. The leg is such a huge adaption compared to the other two... At any moment she could have decided to no longer being a mother, no longer being married to Callie, no longer living in USA and going back to Africa.... But the loss of a leg is something she can't undo. And we have strong reactions to when our power of choosing is taken away. She has just gone through an airplane crash, she saw people die, Cristina is stronger than her and came back the way she did, let alone Arizona... It's not that she doesn't value the fact that Callie saved he life, but I believe she was very disturbed and desperately wanting to go back to when things were still under her control. A normal reaction to everyone in this situation. There are, unfortunately, many situations of people who had just become paralyzed and the adaptation is so difficult they just try to kill themselves. You still feel your legs there, they still hurt, but they're not there. That hurts psychologically. Also, that was just a glimpse of what her brother sees at war, her father and grandfather saw, and suddenly she realizes what it really means to be in a life and death situation and that she's not as strong as she'd like to believe she is. So she runs and focus on one thing she can blame for all the confusion inside her head. It's not about the leg, really. It's everything coming down on her and Callie really didn't know how to react to this, most of us didn't know. It's comprehensible. Not to say Shonda did an amazing job and didn't make mistakes with these two... but I feel like people tend to side with Callie because we see her cry and be very emotional, we see her passion about things and we don't get that from Arizona with the same intensity. Callie didn't change her life much, apart from facing her parents, she had Arizona and Mark and the baby with her while being successful in her career till the end, but Arizona had to give in and take a lot to be with Callie, changing life decisions she had already made for herself. She decides to break up with Callie because it's so emotionally overwhelming for her, and later she really needed support and Callie didn't know how to react to a trauma this big. So yeah, probably no one will read all of this but I wanted to speak my mind as I come here so many times lol I absolutely love your video! Keep up the good work! Cheers

Callie is my baby😩 I loved her since she was first introduced. She definitely deserved better when it come to relationships. With George cheating on her and then Arizona cheated too MY GOSH I’m actually hurting for her. But at the end I’m glad she got her baby like she always wanted and she had an amazing friend , Mark, who was always there when she needed him. Even though they didn’t work out I’m glad Callie had that wonderful beginning of her relationship with Arizona ❤️ beautiful edit

I am so upset by how they grew apart. Totally forgot how they were. They stopped being together and started to be against each other. This breaks my heart. I think the way they held each other at an arm length at one stage is sad. They had anger for each other, and slowly it started to bring coldness in this relationship. The whole leg loss was just a breaking point. Arizona didn’t suddenly feel she is not together with Callie. It surely happened before; somehow inside her it was not working. At the time kids option came up? Mark entered their relationship? No one knows when Arizona thought she isn’t together with Callie. Callie felt betrayed and had to fight dirty because she was hurt and I think she couldn’t allow Arizona to fight for Sofia .. i hope they survive it as grown women. They deserve to acknowledge their wounds and grow together if they still maintain that love for each other.
Also can we acknowledge how Arizona still recalls things as “Callie broke her heart” but not by them both hurting each other? It’s like Arizona didn’t realize she could’ve hurt Callie badly and equally! I always will enjoy Callie better because she is direct forward and she doesn’t do passive aggressive things. Arizona is very difficult at some points because she isn’t as open and apparently she still doesn’t seem to think of Callies wounds too or her own doing in all of this. It takes two people to make things work or make them not.

Arizona is the noble one -- the good man in the storm as she told Callie's father -- she loves your daughter and I take care of the ones I love. A great story and we all know how shallow some people can be -- better to remain neutral rather than take sides.

Pinja I think it’s always an interesting take with the things that happen between these two, me personally, I don’t see not wanting a baby as screwing up I see that as just a lifestyle that arizona has a right to want as well as callie having the right to want a baby. even the africa thing, yes it’s brutal the way their relationship ended there but to play devils advocate arizona had a life changing opportunity at her feet which she wanted for years before meeting callie and even though no one wanted her to break it off with callie it can be understood why she took that shot, those two times I see that as arizona thinking her own methods were for the best for callie etc. the cheating is another story, it’s a huge screw up (and I think a case of bad writing on her character) and it should never have happened but there they were trying to show that arizona’s trauma/depression with her leg being lost led to cheating (again bad writing) which callie didn’t deserve at all and I hated every minute of it and still do to this day.
I think it always depends on which angle you take to decide if one deserves the other or not but this was a very intense relationship with many highs as well as lows, the video isn’t to spark debate on who’s team people are on because that’s been going on for too long, it’s to commemorate both leading ladies as individuals and as a couple.
I guess the only thing to hope is that arizona’s priorities for her family trump her priorities in everything else now that it’s likely they’ve gotten back together.
I guess love is about acceptance and mutual growth.
