Chet Baker Tú trompeta suena dulce y sensible. Gracias Chet por toda tú obra.
Yes, it´s strange, and in stark contrast to the standpoint most american critics have; That Chet was a flash in the pan who burned out early. His last period was awsome, and this may be the jewel in the crown.
for those who doubt the greatness of Chet (unfortunately, this also exists on the Earth), listen from minute 9:15 to minute 12:30 (the coda of the very long solo before the theme) ... a majestic phrasing ... unique!
Chet, despite his problems, is the king of cool, smooth jazz trumpet and he never had to hit a high C to make his statement and make his point. Sad that he left us too soon.
Truly a wonderful track by Chet.........although he was not long to be around Thanks Chet for this wonderful piece of music.......Great piano by Harold and fine work from all in this memorable concert oh to hear jazz like this in 2018 !!!!
Takk! Brynjar Hoff
Hombrequemiralaluna I have to disagree. He played bebop as hell with Charlie Parker in his prime then moved onto a more introspective and lyrical sound but Chet could bop as hard as anyone !
Hombrequemiralaluna chet tried his whole life to be like early Miles , unfortunately, he says that honestly in some Interviews. Luckily for him he endend up being overrated as the W hope. I use to play with this bass bass Player who worked with dexter Gordon, dizzy and ray charles, . That was what it was all about. Being a hope. But Chet was a good man of great integrity.
Chacun écrit: oh, so nice!!! Ah! Oh!
1-2: The Last Great Concert". Un album da avere. Impressionante, struggente, profondo l'assolo di "I Fall In Love So Easily"...

Think Twice I’m curious to be enlightened by your musical wisdom. Please tell us : what makes you think Chet is overrated easy listening, and compared to who ? I’m sincerely curious to know...
Better than this is impossible. Best definition of jazz I have encountered.
Couldn't agree more
Congratulations, if you are here it is because you have unlocked the maximum level of musical taste
Yes i have

This is Chet coming to the end of the road, and he never sounded better than Tokyo in '87.

Harold Danko's piano solo is the best part of this song, also one of my favorite piece of piano solo.
What about Chet's solo. Supreme!!!!
me too !! I would love to find some of his piano sheets
@@DnPoe Yes, Chet's solo is the jewel of this tune.
started to love jazz 10 yrs ago because of this song. It's still my favorite today.
Stunning stunning! wow it makes me sleepless just wanting to keep listening and listening until dawn...
He, he. Just like me. I´ve lost a lot of sleep listening to Chet. And I don´t regret one minute.
Have you seen a doctor?
One of his best solos. This song is tremendous.

no doubt in my mind, the man was a genius.
A true champion. We will never see another Chet Baker.

One of Chet's best recordings. Superb!
He plays trumpet in a so sublim way ....the basist absolutly remarkable...and so the drummer and the pianist ...Chet, the Artist, with a very big A...
Chet Baker -Vocals and Trumpet
Hein Van de Geyn - Bass
John Engels - Drums
Harold Danko- Piano
Incredible Chet never ceases to amaze with his amazing taste, tone, and otherworldly perfect solo.
Miss you Chet! Thank you!
Simply wonderful... can listen to Chet Baker all day.
simply fantastic, why people like him and others singers and musicians have to die?
I think I know, God loves music like us.

It was a Conn Constellation 38B
Beautiful....Love Chet and this Piano is too Great!!!
He was never a bopper, he started playing cool, although he clearly transcended all sorts of labels.

Ever-unfolding beauty, shaped by an ill-fated and tragic life.
magnifique conversation entre virtuoses
Richtig gut....

Rique 🇧🇷 🇺🇲 Chet 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This version is even better than the great one on "Live from the Moonlight" 1985. And that says something!
THIS is MUSIC for a classy romantic dinner/get-together...KOOL - JAZZ MANN
Excellent performance!!! Thank God or somebody or someone for video. He was GREAT!
And some people claim Chet Baker didn't play fast!! Just try playing along to this! What's even more amazing is the complexity of his improvisation.
Yes I play chromatic harmonica and it is complex, but beautiful.
You are absolutely right!
I'm practicing it and I'm up to 85% speed!
The results in my playing are just amazing!
Eccellente Performance
