    I would like to box more as I haven’t since early 2000’s as a younger man and want to feel confident in my ability to protect my family, forbid the case was to arise. I appreciate the art of boxing and the clarity a session brings. I think this would be extremely beneficial as I am self motivated and anxiety leads me not to speak a gym.

      FightCamp building the foundations of boxing when you’re new will lead to long term success. Stick to the basics - even weight distribution, hands up, executing punches from the ground up (whole body)

    Also, right handed should lead with left leg, what if it feels more natural to lead with right leg? Is that something common?

    I know this video was made a while back so hopefully I'll get a response. I just started boxing for a cardio workout at home. Best decision ever BUT I 100% cannot no matter how many videos I watch turn my left foot when I do any kind of left punch. I'm right handed and I got the right side almost perfected but my left side, I'm stuck. Help me, please.

    I have anger issues next to get some stress out

  • @wish-i_warsocks2074
    @wish-i_warsocks2074 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The video bein’ as old as it is, I doubt I’ll get an answer but I just wanted to give it a shot. What if I’m right handed, yet I feel more comfortable leading with my right foot/right hand in front. Like I mentioned, I’m right handed and when skateboarding I’ve always skated goofy; my main question is, should I practice/learn with orthodox since I am right handed, or should I go with southpaw since I feel more comfortable in that stance normally, though I can’t tell if that’s because of skating when I was younger or just normal. Anybody’s legitimate feedback would be appreciated.

    • @Hardeneer

  • @christopherobrien6887

    You are one of few that knows what he is talking about, the problem with this for promotors is that it does not sell tickets because it is very difficult to land a punch on your opponent. That is the reason you do not see this in boxing even world champions don’t really understand it believe it or not , especially were you say point your lead shoulder at your opponent so when you throw the jab he has no way of counter punching you. What is difficult with this stance is balance , position and very smart feet in which case you must be a very good dancer. Unfortunately dancing and boxing are one and the same thing, what I am not saying is that you will not be able to do it if you can not dance what I am saying is that to be very good at this stance you must be a good dancer or learn the pro game has so many examples.
