Yes ... I've had my ScanNCut SDX250 for over a year, and your video finally helped me understand how to make a clean scan of an image to cut. I will practice your steps and I know it will make a world of difference and relieve the stress I feel over failed attempts, and ..... re-spark my interest for my very sophisticated machine. Thanks so much!
I'm pretty sure God led me to you once again! I just got a Scan N Cut and am getting ready to cut my first images. Thank you for this video...perfectly timed!
This is the first demo on cutting printables that actually made sense to me! Now, I need to set out and get myself a Brother Scan and Cut!! Thank you for taking the time to demo this!!
thank you... i do love the way you explain things, but it was a shame I couldn't see the working screen, I don't need to see it being fed in or out, just how it cuts as you touched the screen to get from A to B etc. But thank you for your trouble. Best wishes
thanks Rochelle...i bought a dsc1000 in October....still learning...thanks for the tips! do you cut out stickers on paper on this? mine tends to tear up the sticker from the backing while cutting...maybe it's the quality of the sticker paper...any ideas? xo
Hi Rochelle...where are u based? I'm having endless problems with scouting stationery labels accurately. I bought thr new print to cut software which il investigate but would like to know ifnubhave any tips pls
Hi. My scan n cut seems to always try and cut lines inside the image. I've tried using the ignore size selection but it doesn't seem to help. Have you had this problem? How did you fix it?
I just got my SDX125e and the info is making it sound like I need the low tack mat sold separately for printer paper. It sounded like you are just using the standard mat, so what is your experience and recommendation please? I would hate to buy a $30 mat if I don’t need to.
I am not familiar with the SDX125e. The mats loose their tack eventually and I have founs that I very seldom use my low tack mat. However, I would go with a slightly heavier paper than standard copier/printer paper.

Thank you so easy to follow you
thank you for the info, but I can't see what you're doing on the working screen of the sdx
Apologies. Really did try my best to include the full screen on the top right. I will attempt to remake the video at a later stage.

I have to save up to get one! So much faster... Thanks
Have you cut out printables with the outlines around the pictures and does that work easier?
I have, i leave out the 1mm border then. I wouldn't say easier - it sometimes is a bit harder if it moves just a little off the line.

Do you use the "half cut" function?
@@LaRochelleBibleJournaling no, should I?
When cutting stickers or vinyl, always use half cut function.
@@LaRochelleBibleJournaling ok, thanks so much!!!! xo
@@LaRochelleBibleJournaling tried and it worked perfect...thanks again! xo
Thank you
Light? I though the darker the better when scanNing!
what if you don't want a border around you graphic, how precise is the brother then ?
I found that with clear lines, very precise, actually so precise that it cuts these images i did in this video perfectly.

After I've scanned the image, i go through the editing part of it, even zoom in, to delete the cut lines it may have picked up inside the image.

can i use normal a4,size paper?
Yes. I print all my digital files on normal A4 paper. I use 160gsm paper. If you use regular 80gsm paper, use the low tack mat.
Can we change the title of your video How Vanessa uses Your Brother........ LOL so much easier.
Anytime friend.
