"Although my (drug testing) levels were consistent with those of subjects in studies who were tested ten hours after eating (contaminated pork) and WADA technical guidelines required the lab to consider it when analyzing nandrolone, the lab never accounted for this possibility. They could have recorded this as an atypical finding and followed up with further testing.
The anti-doping experts I’ve reached out to say they should have. I’ve done everything I could to prove my innocence. I’ve passed a polygraph test. I had my hair sampled by one of the world’s foremost toxicologists. WADA agreed that there is no buildup of the substance in my body which there would have been if I had been taking it regularly. Nothing moved the lab from their initial snap decision. …..
One June 11th, I received the news that the Court of Arbitration did not accept my explanation of what had occurred and has subsequently banned me from the sport for four years. I feel completely devastated, lost, broken, angry, confused and betrayed by the very sport that I’ve loved and poured myself into just to see how good I was.
I want to be very clear. I’ve never taken any performance-enhancing substances and that includes that of which I’m being accused. I believe in the sport and I believe in pushing your body to the limit just to see where that limit is. I’m not interested in cheating. I don’t do this for the accolades, money or for people to know my name. I do this because I love it. I have so much fun doing it and it’s always the best part of my day.
The sport means everything to me. I believe doping and cheating is weak. It shows a disbelief in yourself and not only shames you but also shows a complete disregard for the people that support you. I would never disrespect the sport, my competitors, my teammates, my coaches, my family , my fans or myself in this way. I love and respect the sport too much.
I have no clue how anyone can believe this.
I'm reminded of mystery movies where the culprit ask the security guard for the time, just to establish an alibi. Too bad a taco truck got blamed. I love taco trucks.

It's like Alberto Contador and the tainted steak. The positive test was on Dec 15, 2020 and this is the best excuse they can come up with. I would have some respect if they came clean with what they are doing. Enough with the crocodile tears, tell us all about all of the PEDs you are on.
@@danielrussell9416 they're on nandrolone and EPO for females and testosterone, nandrolone, and EPO for males. maybe for the wealthie athletes they also use ITPP. The formula doesn't change for sucessful runners.
USA runners are often jealous of African runners because they get drug tested more so they definatley dose on their nandrolone much less often since it stays longer in their system.
Imagine the response if Houlihan was Ethiopian. Everyone would throw her under the bus and forget about her.
It would hopefully be quite simple for scientists to test the plausibility of the burrito 🌯 excuse and decide one way or other... Very uneasy to hear both coach and athlete apparently haven't heard of a steroid and the risks etc. etc...
I agree, as a cyclist I am very aware of what is banned and isn't. I go through regular drug testing and for situations like this I have always been asked if I have eaten anything or been prescribed any medication. If I have then that's taken into account by USDA and wada when necessary. We all know that the food log is BS I don't remember everything I ate a week ago let alone a month ago. That's probably why the ban has been upheld and what makes her look most suspicious.
Plus, if I understood correctly, she remembers what she ate a month ago?! Sure, burrito must have been extraordinarily tasty.

@@chrishayworth282 yeah it i would say that it's her fault since it's her responsibility to know the rules and what might show up on a drug test. And that's if she ate the burrito at all.
Doing everything you can to prove your innocence doesn't prove your innocence. Being innocent proves your innocence. Knowing what you ate a month before you make a food log, for me is questionable. How many people honestly remember what they ate a month beforehand? The claim is she knows everything she ate a month ago. It only makes you look more suspicious when you claim things like that.
it's a cover that she had prepared years in advance, nothing more. probably forged receipts too since it was some random burrito vendor. also she has a receding hairline, ofc shes doping lol

What good is testing if you don't suspend athletes for failing tests? Quite honestly if I was running at that high of a level, I wouldn't be eating out of a food truck. I'd be getting my pork and beef and chicken at Sams club. If I did eat out, it would be at a national chain. I wouldn't be getting any food that is prepared by people working out of a food truck. Regardless of how it happened, she must pay the price. Otherwise just make peds legal.

She has looked "pumped up" for years in my opinion for a girl or whatever we call a girl these days. Would be very sad to hear if this is not just an athlete issue but a club issue as our boy Moh Ahmed I would think would never be associated with such an outfit ... so my hope is this is a false positive (then again humans have a habit of letting you down more often than not... especially in running/cycling). How coach and athlete have never heard of nadrolone is hard to believe.
Appeal and retest, maybe the adjudicator was high himself, so perhaps a different adjudicator would help as well and hold your head high knowing you have accomplished a great deal in your life without going to the dark side to do it.

Well she did it to herself by doping and trying to cover it up with a pork burrito😂😂 and she still won't tell the truth. Pretty sad way to live.
Ban Mexican food or use common sense WADA. To take a limited incident and create Unlimited consequences is devastating. Hope some good comes out of this. somehow
Next steps: prepare lawsuit
