I’m loving these. I just got Solidworks on the Veterans purchase program, it’s $20! I’ve hopped around different CAM programs over my career as a machinist and I’m liking solidworks CAM. It’s pretty quick to generate useable tool paths. Keep these videos coming!
Professor Cameron, thank you very much for your time and efforts to provide these tutorials. Do you have a tutorial to take this part in this tutorial or any other with Ref G54, vise #1, to the second operation, G55 or vise #2, to face off the bottom and finish with a deburr op? I'm not sure if I'm looking for a 2nd mill oper, a sub routine, or a G52. Essentially, every time I open the door I'm loading a blank and unloading a finished part. Thank you.
Thank you very much for this video. When using the Volu-mill strategy, the feed rate values in the g codes may have decimal places. the problem that the controller of a machine does not accept decimal places. Is there a way so I get just integer feed rate when using Volu-mill.
I'm loving it as well. Keep up the amazing videos.
