You are the man, the king 🙏
couple a years ago i learned solidworks CAD form you... and here i am again, learning CAM... thank you for your lectures, they are great :)
If you're using a CNC lathe, why would you not use constant surface footage? You severely limit yourself when you just set a single RPM
I would hate to be in your class with all the swallow pauses (especially these), ticks, and smacking around. If you are going to be a speaker make some effort to not be disgusting.
Sir i am from India🇮🇳 . Your vedio is very helpful for me. Thanks a lot
thank you so much
On this model and any other model do you need to set the material every time? Or can I let it unspecified and the model still be complete enough to be able to say print, cnc cut and or 3d print without the material being Specified and 0r set?
I am a bit confused. 22:2 It is a Carbide bit cutting aluminum. Should we use a Speed of 600sfpm for the calculation? So the Speending speed should be 9000ish.
Can you use radius compensation G41 and G42?
Can you complete the tutorial by programing the 2nd op face mill to complete the wrench?
@professorcameron3990 i second that :) and this video is mission from playlist
Awesome
This man is the GOAT
This is great!
super bad audio.
Thank you so much for the video!
Great tutorial. But if it was metric it would be perfect…
Professor Cameron, thank you very much for your time and efforts to provide these tutorials. Do you have a tutorial to take this part in this tutorial or any other with Ref G54, vise #1, to the second operation, G55 or vise #2, to face off the bottom and finish with a deburr op? I'm not sure if I'm looking for a 2nd mill oper, a sub routine, or a G52. Essentially, every time I open the door I'm loading a blank and unloading a finished part. Thank you.
What’s the use of this object please tell me
is there a way to have the end mill do downward-upward direction instead of horizontal on the z-level operation ?
Im trying to "extract machinable features" and it doesnt extract machinable operations; it stays the same. Any suggestions ?
very good info but unsure why you deleted the second corner clean up rough mill at 19:00 especially when other times you always deleted the contour mills. Was beginning to think contour mills were just glitched and you instantly bin them.
by far the best tutorial I have watched for cam so far thankyou can't believe its been around for 3 years and only just found it.
Thank you very much for the realy good video for beginner. I have maybe a stupid question. My homemade router is equiped with a 2kW spindle where I cannot go under 9000 rpm. (Its written that I can damage the spindle when I do so) This means that I cannot cut most of the material because the minimum speed is too high ?
im an expert at solid modeling but its my first time on solid cam, i bought a useless mastercam tutorial before finding this and that tutorial didnt even open
Hi, don't know if you're still responding to comments as the video is 3 yrs old, but I'm kind of running out of options and resources. My issue is even after checking the box labeled "use tools from tool crib only", after doing the extract machinable features then go to generate tool path it will still pick tools that I don't have in my tool crib and put them in the program. I'm new at using Solidworks cam feature and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Josh Fodstad
I'm glad that i found this page. i'm new with Solidworks and i tend to learn more on videos compared to reading. i'm having a hard time with other channels due to Audios or Accents that the creator has. Thanks for this!
I think you need to re think your speeds&feeds / cutting strategy. 30mins to cut these solf jaws out of I'm assuming aluminium is way too long. This could easily be dropped to below 5mins
Вам там не надоело при работе с другими странами всё в мм переводить и обратно???? Неужели в штатах и инженеры на столько твердолобые, что будут всю жизнь работать в дюймах когда большая часть мира работает в нормальной метрической системе?
I Want to contact with you sir. How it is possible?
My set up function won’t give me options
Hi. Why did you fo 4 times 600? what is 600 here ?
Very good video.
Thanks verymuch
Thanks verymuch
Excellent, well explained. Thank you
iam trying to program peck drilling but it doesnt show pecking in simulation
I see you're so specifically a professor, so details this betterer than engineering courses ❤
Sir can you teach threadmill in solidcam
Creating impssible tto machine parts is why I adopted a style of extruding a blank piece of stock and making cuts instead of extrudes.
Love it
Thank you for the info. Great help.
I'm loving it as well. Keep up the amazing videos.
Why inch..
what are you doing?
Thank you for your amazing videos! You have taught me SolidCam. I really appreciate it
Thank you so much for a simple...easy tutorial. Been tryin others and they either go way too fast, or start explaining advanced features and or things that I dont need to know for now.
Next target on 5 axes as on Catia? 🙏🤭🤙
Thankyou!
Where was the face mill operation ? In my opinion face mill must be the first operation
