I lost 45lbs five years ago, without going to group and have kept it off. I did keep a food diary, which was a great help. The plan is just second nature now, although I’ve relaxed a little so if I want a chocolate bar or cake I have some. 😊
I love this video! I am a Slimming World member in America. Being over here, I also have no meeting ( all on line). I find watching your videos so motivating. Thank you for all your hard work with your channel. And you are right, a diet journal is so key.

Thank you for the SW info and good luck. I think calories counting is the better option for me, because to maintain weight after loss you have to reverse-diet and increase calories slowly so you don't have yo-yo effect. With SW this will be harder as the plan is good but not precise. x

I wish you and your family a Happy New Year. Glad you're doing about Slimming World. Year's ago I lost a lot of weight whilst on their diet. But more recently, I found it in possible. Not sure if it was bc I didn't understand the SW plan. It was a bit of a problem, really, and that was also with diary sheets. I would be willing to give it another go. I do eat wholesomely and all fresh food. I want to say, even cutting out bread, pasta and rice and eating protein n veg. Still, I don't lose weight; I know your not a Dr 🤣
I’ve ate far to much chocolate 🍫 over the festive season (my main weakness) so to lose a few pounds in the new year is a must, Great video very well explained to understand where I go wrong sometimes x
Hi I’m gluten free too- just to let u know I don’t think the Tesco beans and sausages are gluten free - the sausages have wheat in, hienz beans & sausages are gluten free
Thank you, the sausages are for my youngest who isn't gluten free but it's good to know about the Heinz ones. I'm still very new to knowing what she can and can't eat. Thank you :)
I'm gluten free too, I'm pretty sure the beans are GF. A lot of the sausages in tescos are GF too.. the sausages usually say on the front of the packet... just froze the video and the sausages ARE gluten free .. there's a blue banner which says GF
The Tesco Rice Cakes are 1.5 syns each according to the SW app. Don't forget to syn the olives. 8 olives in brine are 1.5 syns. I'm back on SW too. Lost 3.5 stone last year and have put on 4 pounds over Christmas. Hoping to get that off over the next few weeks and then go on to a maintenance diet. Hi Chelle, thought I'd let you know as daft as this sounds check the ingredients on the back of the beans and sausages as my daughter is lactose intolerant and can't have milk and when I checked the tin of beans there was milk in it 😲, couldn't believe it, thought I'd tell you just in case your daughter can't have it through being intolerant. Also just to give you the heads up the heck sausages are 1 syn each just so you don't go over your syns. X

I know what you mean, although I'm following SW I keep a rough eye on my calorie intake as even free food has calories :)
