They're not able to handle my pond temperatures though and are too slow the bass would eat them. They are fun to watch but would have to go inside the fish room.

Are the Koi fish going to grow? I've read about people having Koi ponds. It's like a meditation pond. Seeing the sunset reflecting from the pond was beautiful.
I'd get rid of that willow now. when bigger, they can pull hundreds of gallons out of a pond, and the roots will pierce any pond liner in search of that water. They look great on a real pond, but they destroy ornamental ponds.
Hi Cody!!! Are you going to line the pond you are making for the ducks so there will be clear water??? Or is it just be a natural pond??? Will the water clear in the duck pond over time or will it forever look like the Chocolate Milk Lake in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory??? Lol. 😉😉
It will always be a clay pond with no liner, when its finished it may clear up but the clay doesn't settle fast and they dabble everyday stirring it up more.
It's really something all that goes into making something so 'natural' & beautiful! That fix really helped! Nice! 💕

That would be nice. But there is no electricity to the barn. Cody would have to trench electricity through the yard and field from the house.

They've been growing everyday, kinda how it goes. They can reach about 3ft over decades so more growth to come.

The water is clear, there is green algae but it doesn't contribute to mosquitos.
