Fun, he says. Easy, he says. *ARGGGHHHH--* I couldn't get past stage 5 lol. But this was really helpful! That Ethan, Pudding, Shaw combo at the pool stage was the most mind breaking for me. And you did most of stages without blocking! Also I'm glad my boy Greyy is having his moment to shine.
During day 1 i had a hard time with pudding and i thought it was impossible at all with 4 stars, yesterday i managed to clear it by myself with GG, Irene and friend mudrock but it took severe attemps, thanks to you i know i only was having skill issues, gonna upgrade my 4 stars after bagpipe to have more choices for the next maps
Ey, thanks for this. No need to worry about taking a bit of time on it, this was worth the wait. I kept hearing that a lot of dps is needed and to take 6stars, so my main concern was that I wouldn't be able to dps enough without a 6star. Was also wondering if I was doing something wrong when Pinecone was just scratching enemies, but I see that's just how this mode is, huh. Reassuring.
@@DrSilvergun That was so deep. Wait a minute... "Deep"... Like... THE SEA!!! Oh god he's corrupted! I'm sory Silvergun we have to put you down now! ( ; _ ; )7
What's your opinion on Perfumer module? She's the very first operator that i upgraded module for as her global heal can get very good. Also pudding gaming finally showing that her archetype is really good at this gamemode. Chain casters (with module) can inflict perma slow for 4 enemies and get dps at the same time at the cost of 4 sniper buffs. Really good.
Strong but niche You rarely run into cases where her moduleless HPS isn't enough but the moduled HPS is enough So it's good on paper but rarely notable in practice
chain casters was always fun to use, slow, not that slow attack rate and passenger was ok'ish besides the controversy, passenger shined a lot in my clears of SSS
I found out that you can use summon to stall the boss. I stacked a tons of sp regen for my operators to burst/stall. I didn't know how much damage the boss is capable of and I was panicking after he oneshotted two of my key unit. I undeployed one of them and used the other for cliffhart to try to stun the boss and true damage it. So I had an extra free deploy slot so I thought I mind as well use it for Deepcolor's summons to stall the boss. It was very effective. The tentacles still get oneshotted but they also push the boss back so it stayed in Cliff's skill range and my other dps' range and after 3 summons I manage to deal 1/6 of its hp to kill it.
Bit tired, will have to watch the rest later. It's a bit hard to track what buff stacks Silvergun's building and whose getting them. Deployments go so fast in this mode even at just x2 speed. Ethan in particular, I'm not sure is getting buffs or not. Video still very helpful. I was wondering about push/pull and ambushers. So good to see those confirmed as things that work out well. My own runs got stuck at floor 3.
Important buff is 5x pudding preferably snipers but we take what we can get Vanguards and guards on ethan but they aren't important just leftover I have nothing to do with Shaw needs a few vanguards so her skill can be spammed
I managed to complete Iron Carrot Mine w/ Eyja, Chalter & Gnosis (Support). Struggling on stage 7 of Taron Mine though since i don't have Suzuran, Golenglow or Gnosis. Would love to see a video on Taron mine!
Usually I'm the first to be a contrarian, but for SSS? I have to agree it's not very good. It had a potential to be very fun like IS but they made it difficult in all the wrong ways (read: statcheck). It's not "oh no it's so hard, I have to get good at the game to beat it" instead it's "oh no it's so hard, I have to max out everything or I can't beat it".
It has produced more whining than anything else and with good reason In short It's has simple one dimensional stat check levels and NO AUTO DEPLOY Fix one or the other (the autodeploy for the love of god who wants to manually farm for 1 hour) and it will be infnitely less despised
@@DrSilvergun It can't really be autodeployed bc of RNG and if they gave skip tickets for it, it might become too easy. Besides, SSS - statcheck = pretty fun new gamemode, so I wouldn't really mind grinding it. But then, I probably wouldn't have time to do that, so the ideal would be if they made it skppable, but the tickets are hard to come by and you have to do something to get them. Sadly, these scumbags are probably not gonna do any of this 'cause they want to gatekeep the players >:-(
Stat check AND triple layered rng..... I swear, everytime I see anyone claim the mode is easy, it's just sniper stack gg/ gnosis, etc and/or perma spin muddy that's pretty much the very definition of cheese than actual strat to the point where the "solution" feels borderline binary. Even then, they'd be hard pressed to be able to get the no loss run medal "easily" just by virtue of them getting Jebaited by bad rng on their deck/ op lineup on later stages with how bloated it gets.
@@santtrun9102 it's not that the mode is easy, it's just that the way to win is by exploiting those effects, it's no different than using a Magnum in Halo CE...
'the sixth stage is harder than the boss stage' oh, that's good -- it means i'm NOT just really bad, it IS a weird difficulty jump! (i am, probably, also just really bad.) what would you recommend for the second half of the 6th stage? i've been following the fairly standard goldenglow s2 + suzuran s2 + mudrock s2 guides, but by the 60s the enemies become such big hp sponges that i can't knock out the boats in time and i lose.
This mode seems to punish having well-balanced units at E2. Inevitably I end up backed into a hole with a bunch of units that I never built, or too many units that aren't useful.
Once you get the Specialist B module that gives 20 ASDP and +1 SP, is it worth bringing any Snipers with how low their damage is against enemies later on?
Snipers are just buff sticks A downside of the Specialist SP module is that SP doesn't do anything for you while skill is in use on operators like pudding So during skill use it's a straight downgrade from pure sniper
@@DrSilvergun Got it. I kind of see it like in IS2 with the ASDP relics, if you have them use offensive skills or Ops with talents on basic attack. Thanks Silver, both for replying and this video!

Specialists, supporters & casters w/ slow or bind do be doing the lord's work in this mode if we even want to attempt low rarity runs..... Fuckin hell the enemy stat scaling is abysmal from 13+ level modifier.
I hate this mode so much. RNG keeps screwing my strategy over and I never get the ops I need for either buffs or I get my good ops way too early.
