hi there!! I'm going to dubai during this upcoming December to catch the 2023 fireworks!! I'm so excited, and may I ask if there is anywhere for sitting down at the main boulevard? I hoping to bring in food and drink and eat while sitting down, not to mention abt the 6 hrs or more waiting till midnight. also, where do u find all these info from? any forum that could lead me to any clue?
We sat on the side walk which is the only place to sit. Otherwise you have to make a reservation a year in advance at the restaurants along the street. I would absolutely bring food! That was a mistake we made and wish we had known! Good luck and have fun! Also, I would recommend bringing a deck of cards or something to entertain yourself because you will be sitting there for a while!

Honestly, all the restaurants were very expensive to get a table and then you have to buy food and drinks the whole time you are sitting there. If you can afford that and want to do it, that might be your best option if you don't want to sit on the ground! If you want to get underneath the Burj to see the fireworks with all the rich people, that will probably cost you at least 500 USD per person if you can even get a ticket at this point!
@@samandnick Oohhh really true.... This year we reached their like 4pm and we sat their on the ground for 9hours.... BUT BUT BUT everything waa worth...that view was AMAZING.... Really glad that I watched this video before going their it helped a lot really.. lots and lots of love to you both... Looking for for more❤️

Great video. What about the weather? I want to spend new years eye in Dubai, but I also want to be able to swim in the hotel pool or sea. Is it cold in December to be able to enjoy beach, sea and pool?

I wanted to ask: is it possible to arrive in the morning at the fountains and "just wait" till the evening? Or do they "kick you out" or wanting to see a ticket? Great question! It seems they block the street off the whole day so it might be hard to access it at any point. We went into the mall in the afternoon and followed a "family only" crowd and somehow got in. I would suggest going through the mall. That seemed like the best bet honestly. Otherwise you have to wait in this massive line and you will never get a spot if you do that. Good luck!
Sorry for the late reply, but I don't remember the name of the street. We kind of just followed the crowd for "families only" and that's where it led us!
Unfortunately, we did not get into the fountain area. We tried though! They let in last minute tickets if there are any left for MUCH cheaper but there were so many people trying to get them, we had no chance. but we got a spot on the street across from the fountain entrance which was the next best thing and it was free!

@@diasone They had a map of the outside tables and we chose out of the free ones still available. I dont remember if we paid extra, they just told us the price and we accepted it right away. The view of the fountain was great, not to mention the Burj Khalifa + all you can eat included in the price if you're OK with eating only burger, fries and drinking soda for 3 hours haha. But it was worth it. They also gave us a complementary bag of Five Guys promotionals (tshirt, sunglasses, disinfectant spray, a water thermos and an instant photo that you can have taken inside at a photo corner).

I am not sure on a regular basis but for NYE, no. You need a ticket and they are very expensive! I think they start at $500 usd per ticket.. that's why we stayed on the sidewalk to watch it, which is free!

Definitely, probably the best time to go because its 80s during winter. So you can imagine how hot it is in the summer, haha!

Good one, but sad guys, you could have made it to fountain area if you would have moved around at 15:00 or so. You missed music and front raw view.
We tried our best! There were just too many people trying to get in and we couldn't afford the actual ticket that would let us down there!

So did you go into the fountain area? i thought you had to pay for it.
Unfortunately, we did not get into the fountain area. We tried though! They let in last minute tickets if there are any left for MUCH cheaper but there were so many people trying to get them, we had no chance. but we got a spot on the street across from the fountain entrance which was the next best thing and it was free!

I heard the restaurants book out like a year in advance... but I am sure if you are willing to pay, you can get one without that much lead time!

This year you can get a reservation at nandos for 1000 Aed, its worth it trust me.
