I have, imo, the best version of this deck. I run Sauron the dark lord as my commander and each time a Nazgûl enters the battlefield not only do I get to stack the counters but I also get to discard my hand and draw four. It can cycle the whole deck in a turn and create 10+ 30/30 monsters so long as you have the right mana setup.
So something i found out thats interesting about changlings is they are also armies so they are technically orc armies as well so saurons trigger can also target any changling on the battlefield

I eventually pulled Haakon to add more Slivers to my David Bowie Reaper King deck, it might even have been Sliver Legion, which is a very good Sliver. I am now seriously considering tossing in Sliver Overlord, which is a single card wincon, a good thing in a deck with several pretty good tutors. As is the deck usually wins by sheer Changeling value (stuff like Yuriko, Sliver Legion, Krenko, and Maskwood Nexus really make things go), but when I get lucky I get to use The World Tree, even better when I have Nexus out, I get to do all of the things AND win when I do that, almost without fail. Crim, Arby's has decent curly fries iirc, but keep in mind I like potatoes a lot, and I like flavor, so if you don't like flavorful potato maybe it's not for you?
GG tomer. Love the shapeshifter shenanigans that you brought to the game. Really have wanted to shapeshift my Ur-Dragon dragon typal deck to shapeshifter "typal" to give the shapeshifter shenanigans a go.

he would have had more if he hadn't forgotten that his druid has a triggered ability halfway through the game. He just forgot that it grows everytime he played a changeling after he played Haakon.@@its_chris2323

How did you put hakkon from your hand to the battlefield, when hakkon can only be cast from the graveyard? I understand it was part of the ur dragon ability but I was told by a judge that hakkon would be immune to anything that puts cards from your hand onto the battlefield because that would still be casting him, and the card specifically says he has to cast from the graveyard.
The other Amass cards don't work in Crim's deck. They still put counters on the Orc Army, but they only give bonuses to Zombie tokens, and the Orc army doesn't change to a zombie.
Yeah they only kinda work, in that they still add counters to an existing army, but they don't turn an orc into a zombie, which means the Dreadhorde Invasion should not give the orc army lifelink.
They erratad it so if the Army creature you chose isn't already a Zombie, it becomes a Zombie in addition to its other types. By combining cards with amass Orcs and amass Zombies, you can end up with an Orc Zombie Army. (Meaning Dreadhorde Invasion and Gleaming overseer etc still works to it’s fullest extent)
I'm no nuclear surgeon, but doesn't amoboid changeling cost 1 colorless and 1 blue? How did they cast that with just a mana confluence? Did i miss something?
Thriving Moor makes B or the chosen color (which was blue indeed). There's actually a full cycle of thriving lands, that's the black one. So with the temple she still had WB.
So I just started a few months ago. What I'm doing now is putting my deck on moxfield. Then apply custom tag to each tag to explain what you will mainly use it for i.e'token creator' 'sac outlet' etc. That will help you visualise the deck and see if you have too many or too little of something in your deck
Furthermore (depending on your deck) assume the only equipment and aura you can apply it to is your commander I made that the mistake of having 2 cards which have great synergy together but I never draw them together
When I first started building I used EDHREC a bunch and looked at their recommendations for my Commander or deck theme. As I've gotten more experience with building, I'll use Scryfall or Moxfield's advanced search to find the cards that do what I want and decide based on how much fun those seem!
Haakon would go great in Olivia's Deck as well. Just throw in a Buried alive. Snag Haakon, 2 Nazgul, and yeet them the the graveyard, then forever recast the all! Also, The Ozolith works well with this.

Put and cast aren't the same thing, so I believe the judge was mistaken.

Ur-Dragon's eminence ability discounts it by 1 since the best blobby boi counts as a dragon. So, no extra mana needed!
It cost one less because of the commanders eminence ability
Every single Changeling in Tomer's deck costs 1 less to cast due to Eminence.
Ur-Dragon discounts all dragons by 1 colorless with its eminence ability (which is the main reason it's a great Changeling commander).
