This is probably my favorite group this show has ever had. Im so glad we got a second episode of them and hope you have them on many more times in the future.
fully agree, so far this has been my favourite group. They all just OOZE having fun. Hell they seem to have more fun playing, no matter the circumstances, than any pod I've ever been a part of!
Rachel and Olivia are amazing guests to have on. Any show they’ve been on Ive thoroughly enjoyed that game. I’d love to sit at that table laughing like that. Last year was tough for me so it would be nice to distract myself with some magic with friends.

IHYD really has become the gold standard for how a person should act when playing with others. Someone has to win, and sometimes you get screwed, but that doesn't have to stop you from having fun hanging out with friends. Lynch's positivity despite having basically a non-game is something I respect so much. For a name that implies getting salty, the players on this show never seem to let someone else's deck get under their skin either. There's nothing that will kill your love for a game faster than popping off and seeing everyone else get upset. On a side not, more Kibler dragon content makes me swoon.
Between the Command Zone, The Professor and I Hate Your Deck I started playing magic again after a 20 year hiatus. I’m sad I sold my cards from when I was a kid. I started during unlimited’s run when I was in middle school.
I returned after a 20 year hiatus too, lost most my cards in a flood during my downtime. 3 years ago, a coworker gave me a commander deck he built for me and I’m hooked again.
If Brian took Olivias Najeela with Dragonlord Silumgar instead of Bloom Tender, I'm assuming he could have won on the spot with infinite attack triggers due to the Old Gnawbone creating tons of treasure tokens each combat paired with Goldspan Dragon.
I just love the new vibe this season. This is actually people being friends and having fun together. I also like that while the commanders are powerful, the whole power level seems to be toned down a bit so we actually get to see every deck do something. Keep up the great work!
In our playgroup somehow the Toxrill player made the other people think that my Simic Merfolks were the real threat ... 3 End Steps later they understood my warnings...
Wait there's people who don't like Olivia? She's been my absolute favourite mtg player since I first saw her at a LRR thing (it was the one where she had besties hats for her and Adam). If there is one person who's giggles make me cry with laughter it is definitely Olivia :P

This is how my Ur-Dragon operates as well. It's my most tuned deck and I get a lot of comments like "I've never seen an Ur-Dragon actually pop off!". This is the first video I've seen of another powerful Ur-Dragon deck. I loved it!
This is how my Ramos deck plays if it wins and Hopefully how my third dragon deck in temur will play when it arrives. Dragons are the best since all the other creatures are delicious meals for them : D
As someone who built Toxrill after pulling the Pre-release foil version of him, Lynch's experience with the deck is accurate. You absolutely need protection ready and usable when you put Toxrill out.
It's 100% Kill on site and effectively an archenemey game at that point Played a Chao and he was a bit salty we went for him but afterwards he acknowledged he understood why we did. He had ways of getting it back and protecting it etc and we spent 7 or 8 turns just trying to remove him. Quality card though
Yo Lynch, I love your work and the show man. Yawgmoth's proliferate ability requires you to discard a card at 31:19 the other ability where you pay life and sacrifice a creature draws a card.
That Dragon's Approach deck was so close to popping off. I was really looking forward to seeing that but alas, flooding out at the crucial moment will getcha.

This channel truly captures the atmosphere of commander. Everything that goes on in these episodes feels so familiar to me because I swear my old playgroup would do the exact same things from the bantering back and forth to the broken combos that would win outright and all the jokes in between. I appreciate the content and look forward to future episodes.
kibler can't cast temur ascendency without both a red and a blue source. his elf only taps for green, and his volcanic island only taps for red or blue, not both.
Thank you for a great hour of escapism. It was really nice to see Rachel, Olivia and Brian return for a rematch. The personal interaction makes for a truly entertaining video, not to mention the game play holds our attention. Yes, Brian's math lessons were appreciated all of us have had difficulties with advanced math at various times. It was nice to discover Lynch has some difficulty with the colors and math, it shows us that we are all human. Seeing Brian's dragon deck punish everyone was an experience after the last match. Great play, great video, and I can't wait for the next one.
Wasn't Kibler unable to cast his Temur ascendency when he did? Is bloom tender was only adding green mana at that time and he had Bayou and Volcanic island at the time. He was missing either red or blue. Great vid tho. Had fun watching it! Keep it up!
Also from a fellow Toxrill player... always have a counter that doesn't require mana... or protection set up for your next play 🤣. He will not make it past your next turn if not.
He had the Kaya's Ghostform in hand, and miscounted. If he'd have gotten the Dark Ritual instead of the Sol Ring, or waited a turn to untap, it would have been very different.
That's the problem with playing him is that it requires a heafty amount of mana ramp and protection because when you play Toxrill, you usually become the target. And once he is sent back to your command zone, he costs 9 mana to play which really just...makes it hard to play him again. Played a few games with him and became discouraged and I decided to dismantle the deck. Looks good on paper, but don't expect to win unless you spend an arm and a leg for all of the best ramp/protection cards.
@@houndoom51 That's exactly why this runs a jeweled lotus, dark ritual etc. I've paid 11 to get toxrill back. If you want to play slug control, it's very different from traditional Dimir decks. It plays a lot more like a mono-white Elesh Norn hatebears build, just with actual counterspells in it.

The RvB reference really warmed my 31 year old heart. What a fun episode, this really is the kind of dynamic that makes a good game of commander. Keep up the awesome work Lynch!
I hate that once the table sees Toxrill in the command zone, all reasonable threat assessment goes out the window and the table chooses player removal toward the Toxrill player.
@@murphyspell7125 Agreed, some cards just have that effect, whether it's justified that game or not. It bugs the hell out of me during commander games when people just start assuming threat over 1 card that's on the table, irrespective of the players board state at that time. That being said, magic is hard and so is doing proper threat assessment in a game, stuff can go HAM in an instant and mistakes will be made.
I could see a Commander-only set with a Legendary creature that said "Partners with a nonlegendary Vehicle" That'd be a pretty cool mechanic. This tiny person/gnome/undead/squid likes to ride cool cars so much it carries the plans to build one everywhere it goes.
I have been playing a lot of spell table and I have been using IHYD as a name for the room. I played my ur dragon deck today and someone started chanting the dragons are coming. I always use a rule zero on the description.
I rarely like and never comment on anything, but seriously, your content reminds me of playing with my friends. The jokes, the banter, someone almost always saying, “I don’t even know what’s going on right now.” This IS commander gameplay. You keep making episodes and I’ll keep watching em.
This has been maybe one of the best episodes yet. Rachel's comments were just so funny so many times. I miss going to my lgs and play, this really was a true lgs experience. Thanks Lynch!

I won with Toxrill, Contagion Engine in my pod last night. So Oppressive. Probably my favorite Wincon in my Esper Artifact deck featuring Dakkon, Shadow Slayer as the Commander.
That would be a cool new stax mechanic: “Encumbered: if target players creatures have (X) +1+1 counters on them they cannot attack.” Or something like a creature grows so big it loses flying, or X ability. Interesting, WOTC contact me

The fact you have a timer for how long the sponsored ad is, that is amazing and a touch that shows you care about your viewers. Really enjoying this season. Keep up the great work Lynch, you seem like a really cool guy and I wish you all the best.
Glad you noticed the timer. Trying to communicate to ya’ll.
Lynch : *does something Olivia doesn't like*
Olivia : EXCUSE YOU
At that point I'm pretty sure Conspiracy 3 will give us "Queen Olivia GOBERT-HICKS NOT VOLDAREN", "Marchesa the dethroned" and "Lynch, friendly warden" x)
Lynch "May we remain civil here your majesty?" :D
The instant queen energy is stronk here
not even 5 minutes in and i'm already laughing, and the episode is nearly an hour long. my god this is fantastic xD
The RvB reference really warmed my 31 year old heart. What a fun episode, this really is the kind of dynamic that makes a good game of commander. Keep up the awesome work Lynch!
Cool game! Would've loved to see Toxrill do nasty stuff, I love the awesome factor of that card!
Toxril would indeed wear boots like a cute little party hat.
So glad to see the tool shirts back my mans!!! We gotta get Alex grey to make some IHYD merch!
We need to.
Olivia is one of my favorite guests on any show. Lynch is right. Her sass is hilarious
I could see a Commander-only set with a Legendary creature that said "Partners with a nonlegendary Vehicle"
That'd be a pretty cool mechanic.
This tiny person/gnome/undead/squid likes to ride cool cars so much it carries the plans to build one everywhere it goes.
I've been having so much fun watching these and playing commander with my friends lately. Thanks for the inspiration, IHYD team!
Such a fun episode. Much more realistic Commander experience than the other Commander channels!
I love IHYD and this is the absolute DREAM POD. Thanks for bringing us that great, friendly, casual gameplay content. Keep it up, Lynch!
Great Game! All 3 guests were great but really love the interactions between Olivia and Rachel!
I have been playing a lot of spell table and I have been using IHYD as a name for the room. I played my ur dragon deck today and someone started chanting the dragons are coming. I always use a rule zero on the description.
Dragons : D
This 4 amazing human beings need to keep sharing videos like everyday (at least 1 a month? Please ? 😅 Love this so much
I rarely like and never comment on anything, but seriously, your content reminds me of playing with my friends. The jokes, the banter, someone almost always saying, “I don’t even know what’s going on right now.” This IS commander gameplay. You keep making episodes and I’ll keep watching em.
Sounds good to us.
I love Olivia and Rachel's energy in games! Hope they'll be playing in more games soon
They are!!! More coming.
The drip is stupendous! Love all of the spice in these decks and can't wait for more popping off in a glorious fashion!
Spicy!
This has been maybe one of the best episodes yet. Rachel's comments were just so funny so many times. I miss going to my lgs and play, this really was a true lgs experience. Thanks Lynch!
Glad you liked it!
Not gonna lie, I think I'd watch this group play Magic on a weekly basis. Love the banter so much.
This was absolutely hilarious!! I loved it!! Also happy to see Ur-Dragon taking the win :D Like Brian, it's my pet deck and I've been constantly tweaking it over the years.
Such a great group. I love watching y'all play. Keep up the stellar work, Lynch!
I won with Toxrill, Contagion Engine in my pod last night. So Oppressive. Probably my favorite Wincon in my Esper Artifact deck featuring Dakkon, Shadow Slayer as the Commander.
I enjoy this show alot because this makes me feel like me and my friends play and having fun joking around
That would be a cool new stax mechanic: “Encumbered: if target players creatures have (X) +1+1 counters on them they cannot attack.” Or something like a creature grows so big it loses flying, or X ability. Interesting, WOTC contact me
3 minutes into the video (near) instant like! Love it
Didn't see the episode yet, but I like how everyone is happy and there's a toxtrill at the table lol
Man to see Brian play Magic again is great. Olivia and Rachel are so fun to watch. Olivia with her wild decks and Rachel with the I didn't even know that was a card. I learn so much when those two are on. Loving the new guests! Just wish is could be weekly.
It's ya boi, Lavid Dynch back at it again. But seriously dude playing a chill, relaxed session and having fun is what card games should always be about.
@26:25 Dragonlord Ojutai has an "Anticipate" effect trigger, I think that's what you and Brian meant.
Anticipate is just a nerfed Impulse!
I’m so happy being a Patreon of this show!!
Loved this ! Shout out to the pure innocent childlike true joy of big dumb dragon numbers !
I'm so excited to come back from work and watch this. Can't believe we're getting more Brian. Thanks as always, Lynch
Rachel is super cool. Can she just be the co host now?
