- Thank you once again to our patron Jason S for his request to finish this album. WOW. Just wow. This was even better then Arrow in parts... and I've been listening to Arrow for months lol. Peter was incredible as usual but Guy shined the entire song keeping that breakneck pace hitting. I love this song. Thank you Jason.

"Oh my guy!" - good one!
What a unique band. They’re even unique in the Prog world- and that’s saying something!
Saw them live twice in Glasgow same with Peter solo. Amazing band with the incredible voice of Mr. Hammill.
They’re two “Black” albums are my favorites. Godbluff and World Record!
If someone had told me that one could play the most proggy metal on just organ, sax and drums I would probably call him mad... and then VDGG appeared to me - with Scorched Earth. For me VDGG and KC were inventors of metal.
Banton plays bass with his feet in their later stuff!
Such a unique sound! Love VDGG❤️
Me too!! They are one of my favorites 😍
My favorite VDGG song!
same here from time to time
I see why! This is fantastic. Guy was nailing it the entire song. That was "Pawn Hearts" level of chaos at points as well lol

You have probably been pointed to this later version of the band from 1977 after Hugh Banton and David Jackson had departed and Generator had fallen off the name. This line up included Nic Potter returning member on bass (he was in the band on their second and third LPs + Graham Smith (violin), and Chas Dickie (cello).
Well said.
yussss

one of my faves for sure, such a good groove.
pretty sure this one's about smoking... the scorched earth is the cigarette ashes left behind.
it's far too late to turn... *drum fill* ...unless it's to stone!
Reminds me of Jethro Tull
Really ? Personally It reminds nothing of. Totally unique.
