Heartland is a great series, but it would be alot better if the writers would stop pushing or rushing any new love interests for Amy. They'll never be able to reproduce or recreate the chemistry or dynamics that Amy & Ty had and shared for 14 seasons. Amy should remain a strong independent widowed mother. The love for her daughter Lyndy, Her love and memories of her late husband Ty, Her love for her family, and her bond and love for horses should be enough. Heartland originally was about a ranch, family, and Amy's bond and abilities with horses. It was never intended to be about a love story, yet they gave us one of the best love stories of all time with Amy and Ty.

They experienced young love, companionship/relationship, marriage and started a family together. There were ups and downs along the way, but that's everyday life nobody is perfect. It took 14 seasons to build everything Amy and Ty had together. They will never be able to reproduce or recreate what Amy and Ty had or shared, I think it's a mistake to rush or push any new love interests on Amy.
Well I just started season 14 and I am crying my eyes out over Ty and broken hearted over all of this. I live in USA so I guess I have to wait to be able to finish the last three seasons. And then wait on season 18 to be able to watch it . I am already missing Ty and I have not even finished episode one yet 😭.

Graham Wardle, Ty, wanted off the show for some time before he left. You were being mislead by people putting out totally incorrect information. It’s your choice whether you watch Heartland or not. The show has many continuing fans! Graham did not leave suddenly as his exit was being planned. He also took many breaks from performing and when you thought he had gone to Arabia, he was taking a break. Amber Marshall, as Amy, continues to be the key figure in the show with her love of horses. Amber has a very supportive Heartland family. ❤. This show is a drama and is not real life.
Fans need to get over Ty. Wardle's heart just wasn't into playing Ty anymore. They should respect his decision. Wardle wouldn't want fans to stop watching Heartland because of him. As far as not wanting Amy to go on with her life that is a bit selfish. No one should have to quit living their life because they loss someone they loved. If anything Amy needs to find love again for Ty. He'd never want her to spend the rest of her life alone. Believe it or not people do go on and love again after a loss.

I have never been so smitten with a show ( ok, gilmore gilrs!) BUT L I LOVE this! I live in a western town, and ahem, never been on a horse - not for lack of trying!!!!!! but this makes me feel like home, part of something honest, real, kind. such perfect casting and keeping it from over dramatics and weird plots. I applaud you all and sorry I JUST CANT wait till 2025!! I watch the rerun son two channels every day. And occasionally scold Tm! lol he does do that character so well! I crushed on Jack and hoped for Lou and Mitch, and Val to befriend Lisa- cool twist- and Caleb finds someone worthy, he gets a windfall and buys three rivers ranch! so he can help Amy and Jack! I hope I can watch filming one day. its sooo cool!

He was written out of pieces the storyline since around season 8 and they failed to do anything with his character, there is a podcast out there where Graham talks about him feeling like he wasn't going anywhere with the show anymore.
S14 was my last which I watched only because of Amy’s memory flashbacks. I did, however, recently re-watched all 13, including Graham’s official Heartland farewell which was like déjà vu as to how the writers had written him all 13 when he left Amy, be it by MC, PU or AIR: “ I need to do this, I want to do this, I need to do this alone,etc. Graham wanted needed to move on which as Amy always said “ I understand” . I do respect Graham‘s decision . Many of us fans would like to see the return of Ty But only as Ty including no ghostly appearances. Alas, too many seasons have come and gone for that to now happen.. even though I am no longer following, I would prefer Amy not to remarry having only one true love as did her mother who tried to save Tim from himself, but could not. Best of luck to Graham And the actors of Heartland for continued success.
The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.
I am sorry, no Amy is not thriving. You can not build a Ty/Amy foundation for 13 years then just kill him off..wait and continue on. You're basically undoing what took over a decade to build. The second point to is that they built Ty/Amy as soul mates, less face it Ty took a bullet so his soulmate could live, the man survived a plane crash and motorcycle wreck to return to her. Would he just move on? Nope. So if they go that route it's a step closer to ending a series that should have recast the actor not kill the charector and has struggled since they did it.

its good she doesn't settle but I do like the idea of bringing TY back as he had to go into witness protection to protect the family. And now safe to be back! THATs the ONLY option for Ty returning I can see as feasible. I feel like Lou's character has always been seeking a man to make her happy. She has an MBA, super successful businesses and is a published author but her focus has always been on whoever her love interest is. To have Amy follow that same, traditional path would be redundant. Dating is one thing but I dont think her character should enter another long-term relationship in the near future.
Yes it would be nice to see a little more of Shane and Chloe. I want Amy to find a new love. After four seasons it has been long enough. It would be so great to see her remarry. To have someone that fits in with her life and family especially Lyndie. I am excited to see Season 18 when it becomes available.

What a disappointment! Since Ty left I have not been as enthused about the show at all. I thought they were going to find some magical way to reinstate him. Whatever is done-- young Pryce is quite the dud and so was Finn. The only possibility would be the well-built gentlemen that bought Big River. Would LOVE a new love for Amy and Lyndi.
Look in real life it is not perfect, people die, divorce etc. I think the show has done great moving on, and showing people you can move on after heartbreak, and think this has done this very well. I really like Nathan and hope that is the new relationship, think they will teach each other to trust and lasting love is possible. I hope in season 18 we get to see an episode with Spartin we really have not seen that horse in a while . I also want to see some characters we have not seen in a while like Malloy and Jake, Georgie ,as well as Amy's best friend who we have not seen since Amy an ty wedding as well as Ashley we have n9tnreally seen her on awhile.

its good she doesn't settle but I do like the idea of bringing TY back as he had to go into witness protection to protect the family. And now safe to be back! THATs the ONLY option for Ty returning I can see as feasible. OTHER wise she can continue as is, strong self reliant woman...but wait...suddenly someone is clearly meant for her, so far, not liking the try -outs. Maybe it needs to be someone Jack brings home to do cattle.. tahdah! and Lindys Likes him lots, but Amys hesitant until shes not!

It has been 4 years since Ty died (he willingly quit!) He wasn’t loyal to his fans so get over it. You people who can’t appreciate the show, amazing characters, and various story lines should get out of your tunnel vision. Heartland is a great show. Amber is one of the best actors of our time as are most of the rest of the cast. Amy, is a young, attractive woman. Why shouldn’t she have new romance in her life. For those who say you’re not watching anymore because Ty won’t be brought back to life…your loss!

I feel like Lou's character has always been seeking a man to make her happy. She has an MBA, super successful businesses and is a published author but her focus has always been on whoever her love interest is. To have Amy follow that same, traditional path would be redundant. Dating is one thing but I dont think her character should enter another long-term relationship in the near future.

Yes it would be nice to see a little more of Shane and Chloe. I want Amy to find a new love. After four seasons it has been long enough. It would be so great to see her remarry. To have someone that fits in with her life and family especially Lyndie. I am excited to see Season 18 when it becomes available.

Es un hermoso programa pero parte de su encanto se perdió cuando Graham salió del show.Aunque hay que acepatr que en tantos años ,los actores se cansen de sus papeles . El punto es que el carisma de Graham (Ty) es difícil de reemplazar. Nathan no tiene la chispa .Le falta expresividad y dotes de actuación que sí tenía Robert Cormier.Una lástima que haya fallecido .Ojalá encuenten un actor que de la talla.O el q hace de natham logre más expresividad.Sería un bonito cierre .

He is not coming back.. He died sadly and yes it was a huge loss to have him pass away and it shows us how strong Amy is and how lucky she to have a family that is always there for her and her little girl.

What a disappointment! Since Ty left I have not been as enthused about the show at all. I thought they were going to find some magical way to reinstate him. Whatever is done-- young Pryce is quite the dud and so was Finn. The only possibility would be the well-built gentlemen that bought Big River. Would LOVE a new love for Amy and Lyndi.

Look in real life it is not perfect, people die, divorce etc. I think the show has done great moving on, and showing people you can move on after heartbreak, and think this has done this very well. I really like Nathan and hope that is the new relationship, think they will teach each other to trust and lasting love is possible. Heartland can go on another 5-10 yrs I think, hope I last long enough to see it :) Think this is the best ever series ,
