Yes, I have a little story of my father. I am white, my dad was what you would call a "Red Neck" white man who grew up in poverty. He had been a racist until the 70s when he started to change. My dad hated my Jimi Hendrix music that I would sometimes blast on my stereo, he loved his country. Years later I went to visit him. I had brought with me some Bob Marley albums that I had taken to a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a long time, He hated Bob's music, but my father asked me about these LPs and told me to put one on his stereo. So I put on a Bob Marley Lp in my father's living room expecting him to tell me to get it off like my old friend who was now into Disco & Disco Dancing.
