Modifying tools is fun, I made a stubby out of a cheap ratchet a few weeks ago and I might make a thumbwheel ratchet out of another one, might as well do something with those cheapies I have laying around.
I have made custom tools out of cheap throw away tool.Needed a very short 5/8 stubby wrench,cut the open end part off a cheap throw away 5/8 wrench.Needed it for access to a high pressure power steering line fitting and worked
