I WANT TO BRAID YOUR BEAUTIFUL SUNSET MANE PLEASE OH PLEASE LET ME FONDLE AND CARESS THAT VOLUMPTUOUS AUBURN WATERFALL ITS SO MAJESTIC ( also thoroughly enjoying binging your videos and you've inspired me to try this hellscape of a game again )
got my first win a few days ago, I had a shotgun-machinegun with extra bounce that spawned bubbles with every bounce AND both the shots and bubbles made the enemies have a personal gravity field. My game crashed once on that run
Was waiting on a sale, hadn't put it on my wish list, and had almost forgotten about this. Many much thanks for the reminder. And after seeing this I can't wait to get it :)
Nice video, I really like that you don't spoil to much. I played this game for 68 hours (as of writing this comment) and I absolutely love it. Sometimes you die in stupid ways and you get noita'd hard. But it feels amazing to build some stupid OP wand and blast everything to pieces. Discovering new areas and beating bosses really gives a great sense of accomplishment. If you're able to accept the fact that you will die a lot in absurd ways then you'll have a blast playing this game.
I'm so glad you've been enjoying noita, I have a thousand hours in this game and I've loved every second of it. If you ever need advice on advanced spell builds or anything let me know.
And then, there are MODS! Glorious mods, they add so much to the game it insane bosses, secrets, alchemy. you could easily triple the amount of spells, perks, and enemies in the game. It’s crazy how much stuff the community has made in the year this game has been available
I think the mods are what’s gonna get me to truly like the game. IMO a slightly content-deprived moment-to-moment gameplay loop that can definitely be fixed by mods
While I tried this game and wasn’t a huge fan of it, I still had one hilarious moment in literally my first run. I made it out of the first area and chose an upgrade that made me teleport when I took damage. Then I got lit on fire, got poisoned, and fell into a stack of explosive barrels.
Tip: Whenever you see something you want like gold dropped from an enemy, a new wand or an item, don't just run straight to it. Look around it. make sure there are no enemies currently shooting at you, and make sure, that if you go for the wanted thing, you have a safe way out. This is really obvious when you read it, but a lot of people are so blinded by the goal, that they don't notice the explosives right next to it, or that the goal is in a hole filled with poly.
Love your streams/edited vods as always but seeing these more polished vids from you is always nice-nothing beats a good cutaway gag lol. Looking forward to the next one, if you choose to make this a series!
This is my first introduction to your channel and I like what I see so far. You and I have very similar playtimes for beating the game so I feel relatable. Also you have a kind of NakeyJakey vibe to which I like.
yea but i'm wildly inconsistent and have become more of a streamer so wATCH OUT lmao, new vid tho on new world bs coming oson yeehaw thanks brother pizza
Great review Ross, thank you! Honestly Noita is one of those games that gets so many things right in its own ways and serves as very good inspiration, and yes, every pixel being simulated is VERY impressive in how they made it work.
(no spoilers): In noita, you play as a slightly scetchy finnish arsonist with usually 2-4 baguettes. Usual gameplay is running around in caves continously prooving, that you are in fact NOT the apex predator, usually by dying, dying, dying, fleeing or dying.
my boyfriend knows i LOVe rouge-likes and he bought me this game for my B-day and O-M-G i LOVE this game, its so.. so... idk.. just has other rouge-like games lack? ive been glues to this game for hours!!!
I'm sorry your previous video has got me playing hades permanently. Come back in a while when I am no longer addicted and maybe I can get addicted to this instead. Love the video as always
Entertaining video, but people looking to purchase to just take note to that “game not for everyone” even more for this game than others. It really just plays like a very well-made magic simulation game. Visually it looked like Terraria, which had me interested, but it doesn’t play much like Terraria, besides the movement and the aiming. Still a neat experience, but a very niche one I’d say.
it's now officially noita day, 11/6 NOITA

UBER DANGE PLS MAKE CUM TRIBUTE TO NOITA
Hey man you should make a noita video like the terraria ones
"*I HAVE BECOME STRONGER THAN POSEIDON. THIS IS NOT POSEIDON. THIS IS STEVE, THAT'S HIS NAME.*"
"steve is dead"
was there for the stream, don't think we forgot about the sea mine ross
'Did you know that every pixel in noita is simulated?' gives off the same energy as 'bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum'
Did you also know that “people die when they’re dead”?
holy shit

This is such a good, entertaining, and very spoiler avoidance friendly way to show off my Game of The Year, ty for showing it off so well :)
I have heavy spoiler avoidance when video makin, especially in a reviewy format hooHoo
"Game has a lot of depth to it... not because you're going down, it's just so much under the surface level!"
Yeap, rephrasing didn't help at all.
Really hoping Noita gets a multiplayer at some point, the chaos would be amazing in a group
I believe there’s a multiplayer mode in the works
It would be friendly fire galore. It will need a respawn system to be fun.
@@Raiju2 just have no friendly fire
@@genieinthepot2455 Thats not very Noita of you
@@genieinthepot2455 the game already has self-friendly fire so
Same, man. I only have one win, and that's with the ping-pong luminous drill.
I love that this game facilitates sentences like that.
At this point we should just add another R for RogueRedRiotRoss.
R^4
He solved a sudoku he’s unstoppable now
Crazy how much you covered in this one video without even getting into the secret lore stuff. Like. You haven't even mentioned the multiverse aspect!
It is secrets
The one gag "you're a wizard" made my sides split
Wow, falling sand game has come a long way
yes
literally closing the game after i die and then opening it back up a few minutes later is how it goes every time i play this game
death replay displays all of my failings for me to see clearly in hindsight 😢
@@RedRiotRoss at least the death sound is pleasing to the ear.
BONGGGgggggggg
They will fear the duck shot gun.
Idk who you are but its so nice to see a bigger youtuber covering this game, so ty for that
This video was great! Maybe go check out McQueeb, too
Lmao ofcourse it ends on the duck clip.
Was a nice video 👍
it was ur clip it was THE CLIP

Imagine being finnish and reading the word noita in the title in the way you pronounce it in english.
Oh yeah noita means witch
yay noita (good luck ross)

That Megumin mod made me want to grab this while it's still on sale.
Nice review on a game I really enjoy.

Have You Heard of Noita?
Great review Ross, thank you!
Honestly Noita is one of those games that gets so many things right in its own ways and serves as very good inspiration, and yes, every pixel being simulated is VERY impressive in how they made it work.
I’ve never seen this guy before but holy formuoli that hair. He was a lion in a past life.
I feel like this video should be on Noita's store page on steam. Still one of my favorite videos you have released.
video editing as beautiful as your hair
"I'll go right. That's what I usually do in 2D games."
Conformist.
Also, kinda weird in top-down games, but you do you.
First time here, saw you played risk of rain 2, a game I just picked up. Noita looks pretty cool.
Noita 👍
Armchair jesus brings the good stuff.
Honestly i didn't know how this video was going to start but at 0:19 when i heard that Billy Hatcher Music start bumpin i knew it was gonna be good
Me watching this video after playing noita for one and a half hours: Everything is on fire, covered in acid, and exploding.... yep this is noita.
What, you mean the unbreakable phone made of Tungsten?
(no spoilers):
In noita, you play as a slightly scetchy finnish arsonist with usually 2-4 baguettes. Usual gameplay is running around in caves continously prooving, that you are in fact NOT the apex predator, usually by dying, dying, dying, fleeing or dying.
A new well deserved subscriber!
Man i had to suscribe, very funny
I dont know how but you caught the comedic randomness essence that upisnotjump has
gotta love the jeh jeh rocket
'You got Noita'd' got me 😂😂😂
0:05 You just got noita'd
Honestly RedRiot, I love you for using the Billy hatcher OST and reviving my nostalgia for that game.
Bro cut to that playtime like it took him long to beat Noita...
It took me a little over 160 hours
Electric perk and a water spawning wand? Fecking genius.
And also infinite alternate universes
the intro is calm and settling
Billy Hatcher music in background. happy music times.
"i wonder what this wand will do"
"ah it kills me"
MHM MHMMM once you can recognize what will immediately kill you if you fire it you will feel better ahajaha
Truly a wonderful game.
My favourite spell is giga sawblade.

Rule 1 of watching a Noita stream. Always vote for worm rain and/or remove ground
The title should change to :"have you heard of suffering".
Duck based wands?...
I feel violated as a species
I get more and more stressed but its too late i cant quit
And have you found all the SECRETS?!
Brutally difficult pixel 2d game where you have no idea what to do.. perhaps we could get a Rain World video...
it also's got explosives ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Don't tell him.
If i ever need a new rogue like game, i just take a good ol peek at Ross's youtube
noita, let's fudging goita
This reminded me of Egoraptor's Sequelitis, Good times (:
This game would be extra crazy if it's a multiplayer game
I hava very strong slimecicle vibes while watching this XD
do a nightmear run video, also try and explore the world
After 6000 hours in Path of Exile i guess I just found my next magic playground
@alascow Yeah hit 6k 2 days ago. One of the best games ever 10/10 if you haven't played would recommend
If you are just starting this game, use this as a tutorial, im sure its better than any other one
